The master bedroom is a generous sized room with a king size bed. The ensuite features a Jacuzzi tub. The finished lower floor offers ping pong, foosball, a card table, a gas fireplace as well as an 18 x 24 bedroom and a full bath. The lower floor has a sliding glass door that exits to the lakeside.
Swim, kayak, paddle board or fish on the lake from May to September. Listen for the call of the loons early in the morning, for the croak of the frogs in the evening, or watch the eagles soar above the north side of the lake on a warm night. Gather around a bonfire at the end of the day to relax and gaze at the stars. Watch for deer moving through the trees down to the lake to drink or gaze at the glorious array of colors during the fall. Ice fish, skate, cross country ski or snowmobile on the hard ice or snow during the cold winter days. Scavenge for mushrooms in the surrounding forests by Mesick during the spring time.

About the host
Hosted by Albertena Praamsma

My husband, Lou, and I purchased the Pleasant Lake house when our children were toddlers. We have many fond memories of boating, skiing, tubing, building snowmen and biking around Pleasant Lake. It is a great place for friend and family gatherings. Now that we live downstate, we love to come back and enjoy the tranquility of rural Michigan. We believe that Cadillac is the gateway to so many wonderful outdoor experiences
Why they chose this property
The Pleasant Lake Residence is a great place for gathering. The house hosts 12 people very comfortably. The great room. kitchen/dining room and lower level recreational area are wonderful spaces for sharing time together, yet there is enough space to spread out for everyone to have some privacy.
The house is situated in the middle of the property. There is enough distance from the road to park and for children to play safely. The property towards the lake has 2 small hills for sledding in the winter, has enough green space for a soccer game, has a marshy area to the west to collect tadpoles and has a beach area to the east for easy access to the lake.
The north side of the lake is state land. No houses, only trees, grace your view. It is peaceful to kayak on the north side on a summer evening - that is the time of the day you might see an eagle or a beaver or you might hear a loon call.
Every night contains a sunset view over towards the west. After the sunset, as the sky darkens, the stars can be seen. Brilliant and immense. The big dipper and the small dipper are easily picked out.
When the lake freezes over in the winter, your backyard increases greatly. Try cross country skiing or walking on the lake at 11 pm, when the stars are out, the air is cold and there is hardly a sound heard.
