Very nice location, very quiet. A little disappointed with the outdoor cushions which were a bit grubby. Unit adequate but needs refurbishing. Cleanliness was not great, floors were gritty. Nonetheless, a very nice week in a perfect location
A fantastic location! Very well equipped - a shame that a BBQ wasn't available - but didn't make much difference! Shops within walking distance - added games, books and DVD's was a bonus. My only complaint - whoever lives in the down stairs unit needs to lose the wind chime! It was particularly windy couple of nights and it kept us awake for long periods - first world problems, I know :-)
Nice beach apartment with a front veranda to sit out on and enjoy glimpses of lake and surf (a big tree lessens the view). Nothing fancy but all good.
Appreciated the books and dvd's.
The frontdoor handle is very stiff and very difficult to turn - needs fixing or replacing.
Otherwise fine and would come again.
On arrival, given all our paper work had stipulated we were unit 4. It was a neighbour who had to tell us someone had already checked into unit 4. The pin code also worked for unit 3 so we moved into unit 3. The property was a great location away from the crowds of holiday goers & looked out to a great view of the beach. We did not enjoyed eating off plastic plates or drinking out of plastic wine glasses, we took a trip into town to buy glass wine glasses. The cleaners had left a 3/4 roll of toilet paper without even a replacement. We didn’t find that very hospitable. The information book was years out of date & a contact for BBQ replacement on the fridge 7 years out of date. The realestate however was quick to replace once they were notified of the need of a replacement.
