We loved this house so much! Perfect for a girls weekend! There were only three of us but there was room for more! We enjoyed having a fullkitchen and lots of bathroom space for each one of us! Had a great time shopping downtown but spent a lot of time at the house talking and watching movies. Highly recommend this lovely, extremely clean home!
The home is absolutely beautiful! The beds and bedding were so comfy! It was a perfect location to stay and explore Excelsior Springs. And close enough to run into Kansas City too. Thanks Zedena! I highly recommend this home!
This house has a ton of character with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Our group was three women and we had so much room. The living room was very comfortable for our lengthy conversations. The location was great as it is about a block's walk to The Elms where we enjoyed lunch and the spa. It's also a short walk to downtown shopping. Easy in and out with the push-button lock. The house was very comfortable temperature-wise. Each room has it's own heating/cooling system. The beds and bedding were fantastic. We all slept great. And Zedena was very responsive to my communications. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.
It’s a lovely house in a wonderful neighborhood. We walked to the Elms hotel and down the street where the little shops and brewery were. Unfortunately, they were closed. A few suggestions for the host, a larger table with more than four chairs would be more appropriate for a house with five bedrooms. Also, extra blankets for the bedrooms. It was wintertime and there were only summer quilts on the beds. We enjoyed our stay.
4 couples reunited and reminisced about their high school and college days. The location was perfect; we enjoyed walking to the quaint shops and restaurants; watching college football across the street at Dubious Brewery. The house was perfect size and the large kitchen and living room were great for conversation. Would definitely stay again!.
Originally we were planning to stay in a single family home but due to a scheduling hick-up our host needed to move us to this property. It turned out great, the beds were comfy, the units were all clean, neighborhood was quiet. We all agree we’d stay here again
This house was very comfortable and kitchen and bathrooms were very nicely remodeled. The rest of the house is “original” which we loved. Perfect for girls trip because we each had our own bedrooms but also “visiting space” with comfortable sectional in living room.
Our adult children stayed qith us in this home for a wedding we were in town for. The house was perfect for us! Great location, super clean, and THE MOST comfortable beds we have ever slept in.
I will for sure book this house again if we are ever back in the area!!
Great place to stay for a girls weekend!
Under the beds were a little dirty with old water bottles and a dirty towel found.
Miscommunication about number of people staying almost doubled the price of the stay.
Otherwise great location.
The house was conveniently located where you could walk to the restaurants and shops downtown and to The Elm. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
This house is a hidden jewel. We rented it for a girls’ weekend. It was perfect! The space is so cozy and charming. We loved just exploring the space and see all of the details in this historic home. It’s been beautifully renovated and makes the perfect retreat! We will definitely be back!
I was in route when I learned I really didn’t have a reservation due to having a payment that I was not aware of. Then I learned it was going to cost much more than I anticipated. Thank goodness the owner is a great person and was willing to work with me. It turned out fantastic!
This home is beautiful and spacious. The updates to the interior of the home paired with the beautiful original hardwoods made our stay wonderful. The owner was very accommodating and communicated the directions very clearly. The location of the home is amazing - close to the Elms and to downtown main street. I will definitely book this home again when we come back to Excelsior Springs.
This was our second stay in this home and we loved it just as much as our first stay. Cozy, clean, comfortable, and walking distance to The Elms as well as downtown restaurants. Perfect place for a girls weekend of pampering and relaxation.
Neat historic house with a completely modern kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable stay and enjoyed our time in the area. Made 2 additions in guests and host quickly took care of it both times. Thank you!
We loved this place! Beautiful original features, with updated and luxurious kitchen and bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable! The owner was friendly, efficient, and communicative. We also love that is is closed to the Elms Hotel and local establishments. Just a delight... will stay again. :)
Besides the house being utterly gorgeous, it was everything we could hope for and more. Perfect meeting spot for a girls 50th birthday weekend. Plenty of room, the beds super comfortable, spa like bathrooms, a kitchen of dreams, and perfect location to walk to area attractions. Short drive to a couple nice wineries too. The host very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely go back. My mom and sister would love it too!
