This is a cute and cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath home in a central location in Las Cruces NM. It is located close to downtown and NMSU. There is covered off street parking under a carport in the driveway. The home has many Mexican accents like Saltillo tile in the kitchen, dining and both bathrooms. Both the showers have been redone in recent years and now are lovely walk-in showers. There is a dining table for six. Kitchen has a gas stove, basic cooking utensils and cookware. There is a coffee pot, a french press and teapot. The living room has a smart TV, WIFI and a writing table to provide you with a work space. The main bath has a large walk-in shower. Master bedroom has a comfy king bed with a private bath with shower. The other bedrooms have a queen and full bed. There is an enclosed patio in the front of the house and because of the growth of the ash tree there many guests have found it a delightful refuge for coffee in the morning. The backyard has a very large open patio with huge private fenced yard. There is a washer and dryer.

Enjoyable stay in Las Cruses

Rooms inside were nicely decorated, good location to explore downtown and walking trails were close. My wife really enjoyed the backyard ( so did our dog).

Comfortable stay

We spent five nights here in February. It was my wife, myself and our dog, who enjoyed the backyard. The home had more than enough room for us, and the owner helped us resolve an issue with the TV. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

Central Location in Las Cruces

House was nice, clean and comfortable. Great yard for our dog and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Unfortunately we had an incident with the house and had to leave early. The owner was quick to respond once she returned from her retreat and refunded us for part of our stay. The owner fixed the problem. I would recommend this house if you are looking for a place to stay in Las Cruces.

Great place to hang out and relax!

My wife and I spent a month at this house. It was comfortable for the two of us and accommodated another couple friends for a few nights nicely. Great fenced back yard that our dog loved. Neighborhood was quiet, but the mourning doves could easily have been called “morning” doves, as they were up bright and early every day. Location was close to downtown and central to all of Las Cruces. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home to others.

Great as always

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the big backyard for the dogs. The house feels like a home with artwork from her children throughout. It is easy to get around town with this location and it is in a quiet neighborhood

Great location and cozy home

Had a great time in Las Cruces and the home was clean and in a great spot. Wonderful owner and great on communication. Only disappointment was one of the bedrooms had an air mattress. I didn't realize that when booking. Our son was fine with it but I was thinking if a couple had used it, it may not have been a positive experience.

Amazing Adobe Style Home

My husband and I fully enjoyed every aapect of renting this home in Las Cruces. Lots of space, bathrooms are well appointed, huge backyard to lounge in, cute front courtyard for coffee or cocktails. Master bed was a DREAM!! We've never slept so well. Comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is well appointed and diningroom large enough to host a dinner party if desired. We look forward to visiting again and utilizing this home.

Had a great time in Las Cruces. Loved the house and the location.

This feels like a home and was perfect for our month long stay. We used the front and back patios daily. The location is perfect for getting downtown or to any restuarant. It is close to bike trails and the neighborhood is safe and easy to walk in.

Convenient location and helpful host

The size of the house was great for us, and the huge back yard provided lots of room for our dog to play. Proximity to downtown was very convenient, and also gave good access for my daily commute on Hwy 70. The location brought some noise from loud cars and the train; we were willing to accept that for the convenience of the location. Best feature is the host herself: Our plans changed a few times, and the host was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which was so helpful for us. Thanks!

Comfortable, Light Filled Home

This is a centrally located, roomy house with plenty of parking and easy access to anywhere you'd like to go. It's super quiet and secure. The property owner responds immediately and has maintenance support nearby. We went for walks around the neighborhood most days, and enjoyed our stay here immensely. There were only two of us, but the house would easily sleep 3X that.

Very comfortable and great access

This is a very nice property in an area of Las Cruces that is very convenient to all the amenities that S. New Mexico offers. It has a nice patio and backyard for relaxing that offers privacy. Minor maintenance issues were handled very quickly. The property manager keeps in touch and seems very interested in guest comfort. I would definitely book this property again for a future trip to the area.

Casa La Jolla was my home for 5 years where I lived with 2 of my girls until they graduated and started at NMSU and I moved to California. After doing a long term rental and returning to it in shambles I decided to turn it into a vacation rental and have never looked back. I have had so many wonderful guests there that it has been overwhelmingly heartwarming for me. It is New Mexico and so I have tried to keep it funky and cozy while making steady improvements but I think that it captures the essence of the cool vibe in New Mexico.

Why they chose this property

This property gives you plenty of space and has a huge backyard with views of the Organ Mountains as well lots of privacy. Perfect for a single person who just wants the space and comfort of a home and great for a bit larger party too.

What makes this property unique

Huge fenced in backyard. 2 updated bathrooms. All the necessary items to make you feel at home. One of the things that guest have been mentioning is that the front enclosed patio with the now larger Ash tree provides them with a perfect spot to enjoy their morning coffee. Peaceful.
