Lovely quiet oasis
My family of 5 stayed in this home while on spring break visiting some other family in Palm Beach. The home is located in a quiet little neighborhood and a quick drive to many stores and restaurants and the Lake Worth beach. The beach gets really crowded by 11:00am, so get there early! The beach is not walkable from the house, and i'm not sure we'd bike it with towels, etc, but it seemed close enough where you could bike if you didn't need a lot of beach gear. We were surprised how convenient this house was located to...the Palm Beach Zoo, Lion Country, the airport, waterpark, and botanic gardens!
As far as the house is concerned, we found it to be very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear and serving dishes. We hosted our family at the home each night for dinner and used the extra leaf in the dining table to seat 8 very comfortably. The poolside patio was a lovely place to have an evening beverage, and drinking a coffee in the morning in the sunroom was a favorite way to begin the day. The pool is not heated, which initially drew some gloomy faces from the kids, but after a day of sightseeing and hanging at the beach they were all grateful for a dip in the pool to cool off - the pool deck gets great sun throughout the day. There is a ping pong table outside that we set up one night and had a fun "tournament" - the game area is shaded and made for a nice activity out of the sun.
Any questions we had regarding the home were quickly answered by the owners. We'd definitely stay in this home again.
