Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily come back.I'll address the elephant in the room first. When we arrived, there was quite a strong curry smell throughout the apartment that lingered, although it gradually became less noticeable during our stay. If you can look past that, or you're a fellow curry lover, you'll be just fine! The apartment is a little older, but it's spacious, comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Just keep in mind there is a flight of stairs from the car park down to the apartment entrance, which is worth noting if you have mobility concerns or lots of luggage. The beds were clean and comfortable, the linen was fresh, and the balcony overlooking the lake was an absolute highlight. Waking up to those views each morning was beautiful. The location is easily 5 stars. It's right on the lake, only minutes from the shops, cafés and restaurants in Jindabyne, and an easy scenic drive to the snowfields. You really couldn't ask for a better base location. The kitchen was functional and made cooking easy, but it's worth knowing that it's essentially empty when it comes to pantry basics. Bring or buy your own oil, seasonings and other cooking essentials. The cookware, crockery and cups were a little well loved and could probably do with a refresh, or at least a thorough clean, but they did the job.Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable, well located place with stunning lake views and don't mind a property with a bit of c
