The moment you turn into the street, you feel at home. Beautiful, peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. When we entered the house we were blown away at how spacious the kitchen/dinning/living room is. The kitchen had pots, pans, utensils, clean fridge, sink, stove & dishwasher. The living room had books and games to play with the family, as well as an operational TV, DVD player & remote controls. The bedrooms aren’t as spacious as we are used to, however there’s still plenty of room to manoeuvre around, all beds had been made prior to our arrival with towels provided as well plus there was extra linen & pillows. Note the 2 larger rooms have heated blankets to keep you nice and toasty. The master bedroom has an en-suite so no fighting over the showers. The other bathroom is rather large and again spacious. We loved the fact that the house has a gas heater and every room has a heater. It came in handy having a washing machine & dryer, especially after coming back from Thredbo, however it is a little squishy coming through the entrance door around the side of the house as you have the laundry, snowboard/ski racks, boot heater, cupboards, hanging racks etc. Also wasn’t a big fan of the pebble drive way as it made a fair bit of noise when leaving early in the morning to go to the snows and is a bit tight to get in and out off due to the bins (but not impossible). On another note there’s a beautiful little backyard equipped with a little porch, barbecue, outdoor dinning table & a little gazebo that has fairy lights. The house is about 10mins away from the shops & snow gear hire shop. It is also 30mins away from Thredbo but well worth the 30mins with some beautiful scenery to keep you company (Note applicable only to Australian residents: also comes in handy having an all parks pass/ park pass before you come to Jindabyne, so you can bypass the toll area. I’d recommend to apply for it at least 2-3weeks before coming as it could take awhile to post). Overall great property home away from home!
