Waterfront Cabin w/Pontoon Available. EXTREMELY CLEAN, rest assured you will have a hard time finding a cleaner cabin. Check out our reviews stating how clean our cabins always are upon arrival of our customers. All high touch surfaces are wiped down with Lysol wipes and rooms sprayed with Lysol. Standup AC unit in cabin. Satellite internet installed 8/14/20. Updates for 2023 are a 18' pontoon with 40hp EFI 4 stroke motor, fishing seats out front and a livewell. Will get pics of pontoon uploaded when we get out of storage in spring. Waterfront, Quiet, Peaceful Cabin on Beautiful Lake Hilbert with Pontoon Available for rent. Enjoy a waterfront cabin with ATV and snowmobile trails on the same road as the property. Just sit and relax looking out the front windows and patio doors down on fully recreational Lake Hilbert. The lake has a beautiful town park (being updated summer of 2023 and will be open summer of 2024) with a nice sand beach and play area, just a 2 minute ride away on the pontoon or your own boat or 5 minutes by car. You will have your own private boat landing, dock, use of a canoe and kayak and rental of a pontoon if you wish. The 1400 sq. ft cabin is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The bedrooms both have queen log beds. The walkout lower level with a sleeping area for the kids having 2 full log beds and a sitting area with a TV. The second bathroom is also here with a 48" shower and washer and dryer. There is a fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV in the living room, master bedroom and the lower level which also has a DVD player, just in case of a rainy day. There is a deck off the main floor out the patio doors with a gas grill and patio furniture for your fun grilling family meals. Fire pit in the front yard facing out over the lake. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is it without a doubt! No smoking in buildings. Check in 3PM and check out 10AM . Sorry no pets, our daughter has allergies to pet hair and it affects her breathing if pets have been in the cabin. Pontoon fee will be removed from reservations from October 15th through May 1st and an updated quote sent. Can also be removed in summer months if you decide not to rent it. Fee will show up as "Water fee" on your quote. It's $300 and good for your whole stay. Book ahead to get the time you want in the summer. The town went to a new garbage pickup, every Friday morning. Recyclables is once a month, hopefully this will change. PLEASE crush your recyclables.

Great place for a comfortable getaway

The cabin was super clean, easy to find, has beautiful views, and is very comfortable and cozy. We loved the use of the pontoon and caught many fish... most were small but did catch a few bigger ones. Kitchen is nicely stocked to cook up anything. We enjoyed the fire pit area. Very nice. Thanks!

Great place to get away!

My wife and I live in Lena, WI where we were both born and raised. We have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. We are avid motorcyclist and have been in all but 4 of the states and most of the bordering Canadian provinces on our bike. We still like traveling on the bike in northern WI and the U.P. of Michigan probably the best, the scenery is amazing.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property as a second cabin for the quiet location and a second place for us and our kids to spend time with there families when it is available. It's close to home, but still far enough away to always be considered a vacation when we are there. We like spending most of our time up there on our motorcycle in the Fall when the colors are at there best. Our kids enjoy it with there families at the beautiful beach at the park on the lake.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is on a bay off the main part of the lake with only 2 other cabins which makes it more private and quiet. The park at the lake with its beautiful beach is a great place to be with the children. It's just a couple of minute ride on the pontoon, drop anchor and enjoy the beach and playground. Access to snowmobile and ATV trails right from cabin. The trails are the same as the road that the cabin is on, doesn't get any closer than that.
