Quail Run is named after the families of quail whose habitat we share. It is a unique property that has been enjoyed by our family for 60 years. The recently renovated cottage has a great room with living area, kitchen and dining, and a bedroom that opens up to a private patio with hot tub. The great room opens up to a grape vine covered arbor and patio that transitions into a large lawn. Beyond the lawn is our orchard and past the orchard is the Freyer Creek bike path that leads to downtown Sonoma. The cottage is the only house on the two acre property.

This place is lovely. My husband and I stayed here during our wedding weekend with our dog and it’s just the most perfect place. Hot tub is so relaxing, beautiful backdrop for photos and getting ready, so chill and easy! God I wish I could live there!
Great walking trails close by. Clean and cozy and very comfortable. Relatively private and perfect for a couple with two kids. Love that it is pet friendly with lots of land for outdoor entertainment.
Home is perfect for a quick getaway or long term stay. Extremely private, conveniently located, well appointed cottage. Would stay here again and again.
The cottage is cute and perfect for me and my husband and dog. We love that it is secluded and conveniently located to both Napa and Sonoma. This is our 3rd time staying here and we enjoy it every time!
The cottage and property were perfect for our stay! We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor patio along with the cottage itself. Definitely would recommend this vrbo. The owner was always quick to respond with all questions.
Wonderful property, would definitely stay again. Very easy walk into Sonoma plaza, nice pathway behind house. Outdoor green space is amazing! Loved the hot tub. Hosts were very friendly and responsive, and provided a very helpful “things to do” for local winery, restaurant, and activities recommendations. Would definitely recommend Repris winery and the in town hike they suggested, both fantastic! So many things to do on the plaza from cheese shops to chocolate to wine tastings, would definitely recommend a VRBO location like this close to the square to take advantage of all the things nearby.

Lovely cottage near Sonoma Square
We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was very clean and cozy and the property is beautiful. There a gate on the back side of the property right off the bike path that you can take to the square. We will definitely be staying here again!
Booked this place as our little honeymoon suite and retreat from the rest of our family nearby. It was quiet, well appointed, clean, and relaxing
Host flexible on checkin and check out with good communication. Hope to stay again
This super cute and cozy cottage was perfect for our stay in Sonoma. Close to the plaza and wineries. Very clean and also very private. The owners are friendly and provide helpful information. I would recommend this rental!!
Look no further this is the perfect place to stay in Sonoma. Everything was beautiful, clean and quiet inside and out. Thank you so much for all your care.

A perfect little cottage, great location
Bright and airy, updated and tastefully decorated. Very convient to the square, bike path and town. Close proximity to Napa, San Francisco and Redwoods. Everything we needed was there. Had a great vacation, would definitely come back.
We came to Sonoma for 5 days and stayed in this cute little home on 2 acres. It felt secluded/private which was exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub and wood stove were nice bonuses after a long day of drinking wine! The only bummer was that we didn't have the deer and vultures come visit (see someone else's previous review)! We would stay here again.
Everything is as advertised. We enjoyed our brief stay. The cottage was as presented, had everything we needed for our stay, and the neighborhood was quiet. Our small dog enjoyed the large yard. We walked the beautiful path behind the cottage every morning. The cottage is close to wineries in the Russian River, Sonoma, and Napa areas and many top restaurants. We will be back!
My husband and I have just spent 3 weeks in the Quail Run Cottage. It was the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in and the best VRBO experience we have ever had. The cottage was even nicer than it looked in the photos. It was the perfect size for the two of us. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed. And Susan and Graham were so kind, responsive and welcoming. We loved our stay! Thank you!!

Best VRBO experiece EVER
My husband and I hit the road with our two small dogs for a month at a time about four times a year, so we stay in a lot of vacation rentals. This cottage in Sonoma is our favorite VRBO so far. Everything about it was wonderful: Susan & Graham are easily accessible and friendly; the location feels like you're out in the country, but you can walk to Whole Foods and downtown; the Sonoma bike path is right outside the gate!; the decor is comfortable and stylish; the kitchen has everything you need (we cook all of our own meals at "home"); and the yard is huge, pretty and private. We will definitely stay here again & again!! Thank you, Susan & Graham, for creating such a special space and sharing it! :)
Only one thing would make this place over-the-top perfect: bicycles... hint, hint ;)
We love staying at this cottage. It is conveniently located near Napa and Sonoma. It is just the right size for us and our dog and we look forward to coming back every year!
