Everything was great with the exception of the TV sound. Did not know how to adjust it. Had a tinny quality to it. Great backyard with decent views of the mountains.
We really enjoyed staying here, the place was exactly as advertised, very comfortable, lots of extras. We enjoyed the pool as well! The host was quick to respond and kindly accommodated us with a late check out. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful home, equipped with whatever you need for your stay.
Very spacious and comfortable home.
The homeowner was available to help with anything that was needed.
Would like to stay again!
We loved the house. Great having it within walking distance of Sabino Canyon, a nice back patio, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. The only thing to watch out for is the temperature of the hot water in the shower - there seems to be a very narrow range where the water is at the right temperature, so the homeowner might want to look at the settings on the hot water heater.
Comfortable, roomy home for our 5 people. We loved its close proximity to Sabino Canyon as one in our party could still walk herself there for ‘more’ hiking after the rest of us needed rest after our earlier group hikes. The owner/host was very accommodating, pleasant, and easy to talk to. We highly recommend this property for a 5 or 6 person group. We did, however, think fees were high and excessive.

I’m glad you enjoyed the house, Fran. It’s always hard to hear about things like “excessive fees” because that has nothing to do with us! The only fee we can influence is the cleaning fee. Everything else is charged by everyone in the rental network. I share the frustration because we have used vacation home rentals/sites and have also experienced fee outrage! Thanks again for your visit!

Great home for a week
Everything was excellent at the home. There were even games and puzzles for playing with the little ones. The kitchen had everything we needed , even spices and sugar and flour etc. I've never had a rental that had toothbrushes for those of us who forgot ours! Wonderful experience. The only negative was that the neighbor's outdoor lights were bright in the third bedroom at night.

From the owner: "Thank you for the review and we will address the neighbor light nuisance!"
We are an older/active couple who stayed in this lovely home for 9 days at the end of October/November. We had a winter home in this area for 22 years so we were delighted to see that after a 10-year absence the surrounding landscape remains untouched or developed. Close 10 minute-walk to Sabino Canyon for walking, hiking, is the draw for this area (parking pass at the Canyon is very reasonable at 10/day). Grocery, restaurants, general stores all within 5-10 min drive. No need to venture far for everything you need. We only stayed in the one bedroom, which was very comfortable, and used the large ensuite. The house is very spacious for a family. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and if you are staying for any length of time and will be cooking you will not be lacking in any kitchen ware/utensils. The lovely desert garden large patio was a favorite spot with typical desert and Catalina mountain views. Again, a spacious area for a group. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly. The home was welcoming and clean. Often there is no sufficient seating space in a living room and dining room, this was not the case. All the amenities of a home were provided for a very comfortable stay. The owner, contact person, was very quick to respond to any questions (we did not have any issues) in a very friendly and respectful manner. We hope to stay in this lovely home again in the not too distant future. No reservations in recommending this rental property.

our week at the house
This property is old esp the faucets in the bathrooms, very corroded and the hot water was scalding and very dangerous. The appliances in the kitchen were wonderful. The patio area was filthy. There is a step from the door into the garage totally unmarked leading to a fall for anyone who does not look down. Yellow tape would help.

Owner Response: “Hi Barbara, we always appreciate feedback of any kind, but especially about safety items. In fact, the hot water heater has already been replaced. Apparently, the renter who provided this review mentioned to our neighbor (not to us) that the water was scalding. Fortunately, our neighbor in turn let us know and we immediately had the item looked at and subsequently replaced (before the next renter arrived). As to the step in the garage, we will address this as soon as we can with the current renter. As to the other items, we will review those as well. We have a landscaper clean and tend the yard monthly and he was just at the house days before these renters arrived. We did have some inclement weather by Tucson standards and that might have contributed to a dusty back porch.”
Property was very close to Sabino Canyon which was great for daily hiking which was our focus. Restaurants, shopping and other tourist type activities are all short drives. Home was in a housing complex area so houses were very close but back yard was nicely fenced with some views of the Santa Catalinas. Home was very clean, very tastefully decorated and well supplied with all your needs. We are used to grill cooking and that was one item not there but plenty of options for cooking whatever you wanted on the newer stove! Beds were very comfy! Heated pool was very close and very enjoyable. The hot tub jets were not working, but a resident advised that the HOA had been notified. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Poor maintenance and cleanliness
This property is spacious. Beds are comfortable and linen is clean; however, below the countertop surfaces, the property is dirty and messy. My review was communicated to Evolve Management. I have not been contacted. Here are some specific issues:
1. The fire extinguisher is still in a sealed box in the garage. 2. Furnace filter is dirty. 3. The deadbolt on the inside front door does not work. 4. Drawers are dirty and are cluttered with former occupants' stuff. 5. Lamp shade in living room is torn. 6. Light bulbs are out and need to be changed in bathroom. 7. Toilet seats are permanently stained. 8. Some basic kitchen utentsils are missing such as a pizza cutter. 9. The list goes on. This could be a great property but it needs some attention by the owners and the management company.

Hi Diane, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We've passed your feedback to the homeowner so they can look into the items you mention. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!
We go to Tucson every year to hike around Sabino. This house was perfect for it. 4 of us were very comfortable, clean, had everything we need, the backyard was nice and Colleen was so nice and helpful
Loved the stay
We were very happy with our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary equipment and other essentials. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to Sabino Canyon.. We would stay there again on our next trip to Tucson.
My sister and I stayed at the house with our 94 year old mother.
The house was perfect for us! Very comfortable and has everything you need.
Due to pandemic we cooked at the house or brought in food. Enjoyed the patio and having a garage was an added bonus! 👌
This property is less than a mile from the Sabino Canyon park, so it a great place to stay if you love to hike there. We really enjoyed our stay in this nice 3 bedroom house. It was immaculately clean, had high quality kitchen appliances and kitchenware for cooking, very comfortable beds, couldn't be better.

Hi Dave, the homeowner would like to share the following:
"Our house cannot be all things to all people and we have not had a negative response to the size of the television or the channel offerings prior to this. That said, we strive to constantly monitor and improve guest experiences so we appreciate the feedback. We have installed a larger TV in the living room and expanded the station choices by upgrading our cable service. This was completed on 12/29/21. We were not aware of the bathroom fan noise and when tested, we agree it is quite loud and have contacted our handyman to arrange a repair or a replacement. Due to COVID, holidays, and workload, I cannot guarantee a repair date for the fan, only a commitment to have it fixed."
