These former stables have been lovingly restored to provide unique accommodation in the heart of Langhorne Creek.

A King size bed in the upstairs bedroom.
Downstairs, a modern bathroom with twin shower. Kitchenette with Nespresso Coffee Machine, small cooktop/oven and microwave.

Breakfast provisions using produce and goods from regional suppliers.

The Stables BnB is within walking distance to The Bridge Hotel and only a short drive to cellar doors.

The property has gardens and outdoor areas to sit and enjoy a glass of Langhorne wine.

Stays of 3 nights or more include a bottle of local wine.
2 night minimum stay on long weekends.

Please note during March and April each year, vintage occurs. For approx 6 weeks grapes will be harvested. This exciting time in a wine growing district also brings activity and noise. Trucks moving precious grapes from vineyard to facilities will travel through the region.

I knew the bedroom was upstairs but didn't realise the bathroom was on the ground floor. My husband and I both need the bathroom of a night and with such steep stairs slept on the sofa bed. A toilet is needed upstairs.

2nd stay at The Stables after a quick wedding last year and knowing we’d need to come back to experience the region properly. Beautiful property and extremely well maintained. Will be back for a 3rd stay.

Stables Fable

Lovely old stables, converted to spacious, comfortable overnighter, on beautiful grounds with garden and shady outdoor areas. Big mulberry tree. Quiet, except for the occasional passing transport. Handy to the region's wineries and nearby towns such as Strathalbyn. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay.

Great location in Langhorne Creek

The property was exactly as described and in the perfect location for our needs. The breakfast provisions were plentiful and delicious. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch and much enjoyed. My wife and I enjoyed our three days immensely, staying at the Stables in Langhorne Creek. We would be extremely happy to go again as it is so convenient to where we live and yet takes us to another world. Darren and Sally have done a wonderful job restoring the property and continue to do so. As we stayed three nights we were entitled to breakfast with the booking and the food that Darren left us was over the top sumptuous. Plus the bottle of Shiraz. Every effort to make the stay comfortable, warm, access to garden and even outdoors heated area under roof. Great garden with lots of fruit trees, veggies and herbs growing and available if in season. Thanks so much.

We had the most gorgeous stay here, comfy, cosy and mix of modern & olden classic detailing with a horse stable transformation. Breakest provisions and cooking facilities and Bridge Road pub across the road for dinner. Thoughtful details like electric blankets, coffee pods and fresh orange juice. We will be back,
