Stunning cottage for all seasons located just minutes to Whiteface Mountain and Adirondack Wildlife refuge on a two acres lot. This family cottage as three bedrooms, a dormitory and two bathrooms with showers. Our cottage also includes an outside shower. This Open-Concept kitchen and living space is perfect for family gatherings. This holiday home is a perfect gateway for hiking trips, ski party, Ironman / half IM events and Lake Placid Horse Show. Rentals are available all year round by the week or a minimum of five days. Internet is available. Smoke-Free house

Close to hiking and mountain biking trails

This was a beautiful place to stay in the Adirondacks. 20 minutes from Lake Placid and even closer to hiking and mountain biking trails. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. The week we visited was quite warm. The ceiling fan in the kitchen helped to keep the room cool and there were floor fans in the bedrooms that helped, too.

Outstanding Home

Family of six (kids between 8 and 16) and more than enough room for everyone. The house was beautiful, very clean and had everything you'd need for a ski vacation (including a hot tub for apres ski for the kids).

Beautiful House, Great Location

The house was perfect for my guided High Peaks trip. We had 5 adults stay. The bed configuration was perfect along with multiple showers. The large open kitchen, dining room, and family was perfect to chill out after a long day of hiking. The hot tube was a bonus.

Great house and location

This is one of the best rental properties I have stayed at. The location is great and the house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was an added bonus. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying again when in the area.

Great spot for a family holiday!

Perfect for family vacation

The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and spacious. The house is two minutes away from Whiteface ski entrance and has many hiking trails nearby. Dan was friendly and responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Lake Placid/Whiteface Home

We had a fantastic time at this newly furnished home. It was conveniently located to all the outdoor activities The Lake Placid area has to offer: 5 minutes to hiking, 5 minutes to Whiteface, biking right off the property, 15 minutes to the Village, and 30 minutes to Ausable Chasm. Plenty of room to spread out for larger families. It was great being near all of this without the crowds of the Mirror Lake area, which was still easy enough to go see when we wanted.

Great High Peaks Home

We had a mixed group of friends and family for a winter holiday and everyone loved the home, property and area. It’s a very renter friendly place with thoughtful details like ski storage, two living spaces, huge well stocked kitchen and low maintenance cement (heated!) floors. The access to the Ausable across street was amazing for fishing, it’s super close to Whiteface. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub worked well and there are plenty of extra linens/blankets/towels. It’s our new favorite ski house! Thank you!

Fantastic ADK House

This house is not only beautiful in it's unique styling and details but also very group friendly and fun!! We were a group of seven who enjoyed all that the house has to offer. The spacious, well stocked kitchen with the open sitting area was a fantastic place to cook and eat meals together while enjoying each others company. If someone needed quiet space, there was plenty of area to find that on the other side of the house as well. The outdoor deck, fire pit, hot tub was also fantastic for gathering together! The outdoor shower was a fun feature as well!! The house was super clean with plenty of linens and supplies like TP, dish detergent, and hand soap something some rental properties we have stayed at can be a little skimpy on. The location is great!! We have stayed in other areas before and found ourselves driving quite a bit however this house is so close to White Face and plenty of hiking trails, as well as the Lake Placid area if you are looking for cute shops or restaurants. Dan was great at keeping us informed with details for checking in, and checked in to be sure everything was going well. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun Adirondack getaway!!!

Amazing stay -- thank you for having us

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. Our family spent Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was completely outfitted and well-suited to make any dish imaginable. The hot tub was a very relaxing touch with great views of Whiteface Mountain. We hope to come back and experience ADK in each season -- there is so much to do! Thank you for having us.

Modern Spacious Chalet

Our family of six throughly enjoyed staying at this renovated chalet. There was ample space to spread out and we enjoyed the modern take on an ADK cabin. Dan was a super responsive host, and kindly responded whenever we contacted him. The chalet was well stocked with supplies and the many coffee machine options were a joy. We loved the location near Wilmington, mountain bike trails, and scenic hikes. The nightly crackling campfires and stargazing from the backyard were true highlights!

ADK Vacation

I stayed at this house with my family for our Adirondack vacation. The house was spacious and fit our family well. The yard was amazing snd had plenty of room to run around and play games. We loved the patio and spent a lot of our time out there. The hot tub was a nice feature. I absolutely loved the kitchen and the large island! The dining table was also very large. The outdoor shower is definitely a “must do”! So refreshing! I loved the rainfall shower head. Since the temperature was in the high 80s we did not use the wood stove but would love to come back in the winter to use it snd the hot tub after a snowshoe hike.

Lake Placid Getaway

We had a wonderful time on our trip. We loved the house. There was plenty of room for all of us. The set up was amazing. We didn't do much cooking, but when we did, everything we needed was in the kitchen. We used the fire pit and the hot tub many times after long days of many fun activities. I was very sad to leave. I really enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness of the mountains. I would love to visit again.

Fantastic spot!

This is a beautiful home, the work that has been done to transform this house is amazing. Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the huge kitchen table, long island with stools, and the 2 living rooms. Very modern with everything you'd need. We really appreciated all the extras that were provided: laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper etc. The back yard is beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every day. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. There is a bike park a short distance away, an animal refuge right across the street; ice cream, pizza, small store close by. Great restaurant (Rudy's) right down the street. We hiked several peaks, visited Lake Placid, canoed, visited High Falls Gorge, and saw a movie in Plattsburgh on a rainy day. It was a great week and I would definitely recommend this home!!

Fabulous week !

The moment we walked in we were wowed by this house ! The kitchen is awesome and it was super clean ! I’m so glad we chose this house over a hotel . In addition everything you would like to see is close to the house … lake placid , a usable , whiteface … and of course the high peaks ! We would love to return and ski whiteface ;) thanks for a great stay !
