Brought to you by Luxury Beach Rentals, this 3 bedroom suite on the 10th floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers an oceanfront master bedroom with king bed and access to the huge oceanfront balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large walk-in shower and tile flooring. The second room offers two twin beds and a queen and the third room offers one queen. Other features include flat screen smart TVs in every room, washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a sleeper sofa in the living room, creating a large and spacious stay for you and your guests.

The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

The location of the property is good, but the furniture inside is of very poor quality. The mattresses and bed sheets are low-quality, and the sleeper sofa was in such bad condition that it really should be thrown out.Additionally, none of the restrooms or bedrooms have locks. While I understand that one room might not have a lock for child safety reasons, having no locks in any of the rooms is not acceptable.We contacted maintenance, and they arrived promptly. The technician acknowledged that the property is furnished and maintained with low-quality products. We also shared our feedback with the property management, and they assured us that these issues would be addressed.

Near Perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is beautiful. We didn't stay long so I can't attest to how well the kitchen was stocked. What I can say is it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the rental team was responsive. The balcony furniture (different than pictured) was really nice and there was plenty of it. Beach access is super easy. ONLY negative in regards to the unit was the master shower had no hot water. I reached out to the rental team and notified them and am certain it's been addressed. Also, wish there was some type of restaurant/bar onsite but there is one within walking distance.

Great location

The location of this condo was great. Easy access to the beach pools and hot tubs were fantastic. Condo needs some updating but overall worked well for our family. Would definitely come back again!

If your looking for a quiet and low traffic area and still not be to far from everything else this is perfect. Had a few minor issues they needed to be aware of and the owners were quick to respond. Highly recommend for a ocean front getaway

very good location quiet and restful close to many things to do. ac stopped working but was fixed in a matter of hours ..a few things were not up to par latch on sliding glass door in master bedroom did not work electric lift lounge chair in master bedroom did not work . All in all a very good experience.

Overall very good. The master bed was not very comfortable and the condo could have been cleaned better. The bathroom vents make a constant noise, like water is dripping on tin. View is fantastic and location is Great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a convenient location with easy access in and out, and the pools and common areas were well-maintained. The check-in process was smooth, and overall the resort setup worked well for a family stay.The unit itself had several maintenance issues. The toilet handle was broken, the entrance door dampener fell off and had to be removed so we could enter properly, and the balcony door lock required repair. The dryer stopped working mid-stay, and the exhaust fan in the master bathroom was missing. Maintenance staff responded quickly and handled these issues efficiently.In terms of finishes, the floors appeared recently updated, but most of the unit reflected an older, original build. It featured plastic tub and shower surrounds, older fixtures, builder-grade cabinets, and a basic, generic refrigerator. While functional, these elements gave the space a dated feel compared to how it was represented.The resort has strong points, but this particular unit would benefit from updates to better align with guest expectations.The unit we stayed in, however, had several maintenance issues. The toilet handle was broken, the entrance door dampener fell off and had to be removed to allow proper access, and the balcony door lock was not functional until it was repaired. The dryer stopped working during our stay, and the exhaust fan in the master bathroom was missing.Maintenance staff responded promptly and addressed each issue as it came up, which was appreciated. The worst place

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was filthy!! It was very expensive and the worst place we have ever stayed. The pictures do not represent the unit. I took pictures of everything from dirty bedding, filthy carpets in every room, holes in the Sheetrock and broken patio furniture. DO NOT stay here! Oh, there was also old food under our sheets.

Lineup of failures.

After finding a load of dirty dishes and broken sliding door in primary bedroom things got worse. Flood from upper unit caused the need for two industrial fans in my unit. Then maintenance decided to cut hole in ceiling without any notice. To top it off they did no clean up and left my belongings covered in drywall dust.

Stay was overall : Good

The property is in a good location. The building amenities, including pools, hot tubs, elevators and walkway to the beach were good. The property overall was well kept. However, our unit on the 10th floor was sub-par. The carpets are worn and stained. The laminate and tile are quite worn and chipped. The couches are worn-in and the unit is outdated in decor. There are large chips in several walls throughout the unit. The baseboards and walls require repairs, sanding, and painting. The flooring should be replaced. The mattresses, mattress pads and linens are worn-out and at the end of their usable lives. Listen, the place is adequate for a short vacation. I've stayed in worse. The unit feels like a 90's motel, that needs a renovation. The building feels like a well-kept mid-level hotel. It isn't luxurious, but it doesn't feel "low-budget", unlike the unit itself.

First, SouthWind on the ocean is in a terrific location, easy parking, and the beach is less crowded than other locations. There is a playground a few steps away on the beach which our kids loved. Second, the unit is fine. It wasn't dirty but the carpets need cleaning and some wall touchups/painting would go a really long way. The unit is huge and the bathrooms are nice. We felt safe and had a great time. There was nothing wrong hat required immediate attention. We had a great vacation!
