🧺 Free on-site laundry is available daily from 4 PM–12 AM.
🚗 NO ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE. Street parking available on Balboa Blvd & 13th St. Street cleaning takes place on Mondays (alongside the building) and Wednesdays (across the street). Parking in the alley is not permitted, and guests are responsible for any parking tickets.

Outstanding location

The location of the property is outstanding! This room is a bit small but workable for a few night stay. We have stayed in one of the one bedroom units before and we would prefer that over this room but they were all booked. We will just have to book earlier next time! We love that this property is not a week long rental and that we can book for 3 or 4 night stays.

It was a nice location! Right next to the pier, shops, and bars. Short walk to the harbor and beach. The room itself was nice and clean. Unfortunately we had to pay to park along the street.

Bungled Beach Bungalow

My fiancée and I rented this property for a long weekend getaway to Newport Beach for the 4th of July weekend. Coming into it, we knew to expect a small space but also expected that within that space we would at least have total privacy and minimal intrusion from neighbors. What we got, however, was a room within the larger next door unit with only a locked door to separate us from our neighbors. While the listing is mostly accurate and the amenities are very comfortable (albeit the pillow game was weak), it fails to properly apprise potential guests of the exact layout of the space. Specifically for us, our neighboring unit housed at least 10-12 people who partied, smoked, and blasted their music from 8pm to 5:30am. Because the only thing that separated us from them was a 3 inch door, we felt like we were guests at their party complete with that intrusive odor of Mary Jane seeping in from under the door. Now to be fair, I cannot imagine most guests have to deal with a situation like ours...call it our fault for booking the area for 4 July (which takes on a Spring Break vibe complete with Chad, Brad, Thad, and girls with their girls out) or pure bad luck, our experience was soured by 10 Guests and likely won’t influence your trip. However, we didn’t realize that the units would be divided in the manner that they were. If the unit had been actually segregated from the other larger unit (i.e. a solid wall of separation) we would’ve dealt with the noise and carried on. Instead we peaced out a night early. My sob story aside, the unit was comfortable! Bed was soft, bathroom was amazing (seriously the nicest toilet I’ve ever used - yes you heard me right), and it had everything you’d need for a beach vaca. Lastly the location was amazing. A 5 min walk to the ocean and 10-15 min walk to all the action. Great place but a gamble if you’re looking for a more intimate experience.

Perfectly located, super clean and great for couples!

Super clean and everything is brand new! Great location within walking distance to the beach and a few minutes from all the Newport action. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

I liked that it was close to the beach

The property was nice. It was close to the beach and places to go. Easy access to everything in the area. The room itself is small - I thought I was getting the larger one. The thing about VBRO is you have to watch the additional charges like cleaning and their charge. By the time you add those on I could have stayed at a nice hotel and had daily clean up service, etc.
