This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Would recommend it to everyone Top of the rsnge products to use Appreciated the bowl of fruit on the table and the cleanliness of the unit was 10 out of 10 plus bed and linen superb
The unit was clean with very comfortable beds. Easy access to the beach, Christchurch and the airport. Quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing.

Not impressed at all
Sorry but I think you need some new cleaners or something. First of all there was hair all through the bathroom draws, expired coffee that had turned gray was just lovely to wake up to, then not to mention the accuracy of your listing is shocking when people are expecting a whole house and not just 1 little room. Would actually like half my money back to be honest that was a joke.

We are very upset you didn’t enjoy your stay.
We understand that the coffee could be dated as we normally just top up the tea and coffee box with nespresso caps and there is no written expiry date on the capsules, so it is possible some older capsules were still there and escaped our notice.
Our cleaner is very meticulous so we are unsure how she missed the hair in the drawer with the hair drier. She is very thorough as she cleans for a 5 star hotel in the city.
Following your feedback we’ve replaced all our coffee capsules and spoken with our cleaner.
Our units are both advertised as self-contained Studio Unit 1 or Studio Unit 2, with just one bedroom, not a house, so we are unsure how the confusion arose, but nonetheless we apologise. The aerial photo of the properly is just to show the location in proximity to the beach.
We are on-site and pride ourselves for being responsive to our guests, so had we had the opportunity to rectify these issues while you were there we would have been more than happy to do so, including moving you to studio unit 2 had you wished.
We set a high standard for our guest’s enjoyment and so, as a gesture of goodwill and along with our apologies, we will make a refund of $110 as requested.

My studio apartment was good for one person. When my son decided to stay with me, the owners organised a cot/stretcher for him which was much appreciated. The bathroom was fabulous and the kichenette was very functional with everything one would need.
My constructive feedback would be that due to there only being one door to the outside, that perhaps sheer curtains be put up as this needed to be open for air flow, but not a lot of privacy with residents in the next door studio walking past.
Also, the photos on the website made the room look bigger than it was, so I was slightly disappointed when i first walked into the room and although peak season, thought it was a little pricey for the size.
In saying that, the owners were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and the beach is right behind the house with easy access. There is also a great cafe walking distance away too, either via beach or street.
Overall I enjoyed my stay.
Lovely location, clean and inviting unit. We appreciate the responsive and supportive communication.

I really appreciated the cleanliness and stylish creature comforts, The bed was sooo comfortable, and we enjoyed walking on the beach looking at the moon at night.
