Wonderful apartment for a short week stay in Oaxaca. Great location just a 6 minute walk from the bus terminal, and about a 20 minute walk to the Zocalo. Fairly quiet at night, so we had a good night's sleep. The best part was being steps away from a lively little park which had no shortage of street food available at all times.. The coffee stand in the park was also a gift (much better than the Starbucks). The host was also very responsive when we had questions, etc.. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

So at first really enjoyed that it very safe, not far from the center. Very nice property. Quiet.
I like that it had a small kitchen with cooking supplies. Tv in the living room and Netflix instead of cable, wifi, all of which are great.
Surface level it’s great, all that I wanted.
But after a few days issues a rouse. The wifi was good until you reached the room/bathroom. The bed was pretty hard and pillows were just very hardly any support; kept waking up stiff.
No one comes to clean so I asked for broom and mop to clash ourselves; which is fine but just heads up for others. They only gave us 1 garbage bag in the 9 days we were there. It was awkward to ask for towels because their response was surprised we needed new towel :/. Also they didn’t replace hand towels, that were used day 1 because the facets (all 3) sprayed everywhere and caused wet messes on the counters and floors. especially the bathroom, the floors would get soaked from shower and sink, from the water spraying everywhere. The shower head was awfully hard; it was like showering under a hose.
Then we ran out of water while I was trying to shower and brown water spilled all over me. So for 3 hours I had shampoo in my hair and dried body wash on me while waiting for the water to be fixed.
Maybe it was just my experience there. But I’m the end it was not very good experience. Despite the positives that this facility has.

Oaxaca stay
We stayed in this little apartment from the fourth to 8 March. It is located on a busy street about a 15 minute walk from the Zócalo. If you are a person who likes to shop the local markets and cook for yourself, this is not the place for you to stay. But if you are a restaurant go or, it’s perfect. There are lots of really good restaurants located close by. If I were to stay in that location Again, I would opt for one of the two downstairs apartments located at the back of the property, away from the street. As for the apartment itself, it has a The bare minimum in the kitchen area; coffee pot ,two burner stove top, one pot and 1 pan. Plenty of light, plenty of hot water, good Internet connection. I would encourage the manager to provide guests with some sort of information packet about the area and the town, for instance where can one buy groceries, where is the nearest pharmacy, what are phone numbers that a tenant might need such as emergency, doctor, police, manager, etc. this might also include some brief information about using public transportation, taxi or a bus.
