South 40 Lodge: Central Ks Lodging With Amazing Views & Sounds Of The Country

Located just 10 miles east of Salina, Ks on 40 acres in tranquil setting of eastern Saline Co. The lodge has a king size master suite with fireplace & sat TV, queen size bedroom and one full size bunkbed (2 full size mattresses) plus 2 full baths. Spacious kitchen with all appliances and bar that seats 4, plus huge dining/meeting table that seats 10, adjacent to a comfortable living area with fireplace, 75" sat TV and complimentary WiFi. Perfect for a business or small group retreat, family reunion, or just to get away vs commercial lodging. Enjoy the hilltop scenic views from the walking path around the 40 acres of native grass, or relax and watch the sunrises/sunsets from the rocking chairs on the large covered porch. Now there is the option to rent an existing 30x40 enclosed insulated shed on the property for small birthday, graduation or family reunion. Tables and chairs provided. Available only from May 1st through Sept 15th. Contact me for more details.

From the moment we checked in to the morning we left, this property amazed us. We absolutely LOVED our experience at the South 40 Lodge! Lots of room inside for a sit down dinner, games, etc. More than enough space outside for the kiddos to hunt Easter Eggs and run out some energy! Very comfy beds, kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

The South 40 Lodge was just the right quiet place to gather our family together for a reunion weekend. The lodge is very comfortable and well appointed with plenty of room to spread out and enough space to also entertain guests. Ritchie has a really nice property to stay in the peaceful central Kansas countryside.

A Fantastic Christmas Getaway!

When we arrived at South 40 on December 22, everything was clean, welcoming, and warm. The Christmas tree was on, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. This house allowed us to gather as a family with our 4 children and 3 spouses. The great setup of livingroom/kitchen allowed us to make pies and snacks while watching movies and playing games. The two fireplaces were a definite highlight to use as well. What an awesome time we had!
