The house was suddenly double booked at check-in

One day of checkin got a phone call from home owner stating the house was over booked. He attempted to move us to a crappie town house for the same price of course. Which didn’t work for my family. This is becoming very common because your traveling and sitting in a bad situation with no place to stay. This is the worst experience every had while traveling!!!!

It was a double booking one from Airbnb and one from Homeaway, their calendar did not sync for some reason, when to notice I immediately called the second person who booked only two days before and honor the other booking who booked 21 days before, the townhome I offered was much bigger than this house and very competitive, the same price for both properties, I owned and operated 12 single-family homes and sometimes you do face this type of scenarios, I did reach the guest well in advance of their arrival, and the property I offered was within walking distance from the one they booked.
