Luxury Log Home On The BIG Lake

Beautiful lakefront log-home style vacation home with spectacular views, fireplace in a community with two outdoor pools and one indoor pool; it is located on Lake Wallenpaupack in beautiful Lake Ariel, PA which is about 2 hours from New York City. You will look out your windows to beautiful views of the giant lake. Unlike being on a small lake, which doesn't allow powerboats or jet skis, Lake Wallenpaupack is a gigantic power boating lake (15 miles long). BYOB! (bring your own boat) or you can rent pontoon boats, wave runners, and speed boats for the day and park them at your own dock! We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards as payment, but not American Express, sorry.

Renter Requirements: Renters must be 30 years of age or older and we will require photocopies of drivers licenses to ensure compliance with this rule. Families with children are the only exceptions to this rule. There is NO smoking in the house. NO CATS are allowed.

Community: For summer renters, there are two outdoor pools....There is a nice lodge at the nearby pool which offers games for kids & teens. There are tennis courts at this pool area which must be reserved in advance at the main office. There is also an indoor pool which is about a 2 minute drive and there is schedule of times that it is open. All community amenities require badges which we will provide to renters.Fishing: there is ample opportunity to do so and the fishing is great in all three lakes (Lake Wallenpaupack is the BIG lake, and the two smaller lakes in our community are called Deer Lake & Beaver Lake, which are both NON-power-boating lakes). If you wish to fish, you MUST get fishing licenses to do so (adults). It is a simple process and it is very inexpensive, but it could cost a lot of money if you fail to have one and get caught fishing without it! Please contact owner for website where you can purchase your fishing license.

Our family trip with our two boys was amazing for a second year. The property and views are beautiful & peaceful. The home is clean, functional and gives many opportunities for lake views & water activities. Martin is an amazing manager/host, you will be well taken care of for your trip.We hope to be back again and dream of the big lake life for next summer!

The owner was very responsive to inquiries. Loved the view- a bit noisy at times with all the boats. Loved the natural setting, deer were everywhere! Very friendly folks. Great amenities. We enjoyed the outdoor pool while our kids enjoyed the indoor pool on a rainy day. My husband and I found some cute little towns ( go see Milford). The kayaks were a plus! The house was comfortable and I spent a lot of time on the screened in porch at night. Just lovely. Also dog friendly, my little Nellie really enjoyed our walks there.

We are senior citizens, so comfort and safety were big issues. This home was perfect! We had 2 steps into the home, were able to park directly in front of the home - and everything was available on one level! The view from the back deck was amazing. It was so quiet! My husband was fishing from the pier the entire trip. I read 2 books with my handsome toy poodle in my lap. The outside furniture is very comfortable. The fire pit, which we did not light, was another awesome place for privacy, comfort and VIEWS! The wildlife was plenty. The office where we obtained our parking tag - was staffed by a very friendly, sweet and knowledgeable young lady who welcomed us warmly. The food markets were also filled with friendly folks. I would definitely return and also recommend. Additionally - the inside living room has really comfortable furniture and the recliners were well used by us! Thank you to both the town and the renter for your kindness and attentiveness to detail. PS: it was very clean and the lake is amazing!

We had a cold, cloudy day followed by a bright, sunny picturesque day on the lake. Both were absolutely wonderful at the cabin. The view of the lake is secluded and peaceful. The outdoor fire pit is ideal to round out your day. Rooms are clean and comfy. Lovely experience all around.

Magical. Beautiful. Perfect. We just spent our second getaway here and it was such a great experience. The host is aces, the home is the perfect place to truly enjoy life. We were 2 families here and we stayed for 3 nights. The experience was amazing, the house was clean and had the perfect ambiance for a snowy winter getaway. The host was also very reactive he helped us fixing a door issue by sending us a handyman over the next day we arrived. We will surely do it again and probably try it during spring as it has very a nice lake next to it.

The house was exactly as depicted in the photos. We arrived a bit early and the cleaning staff were finishing up, they did an outstanding job. The decor kept to the lake/ fishing theme without overdoing it. All appliances worked perfectly. We loved loved the screened in porch. My son caught a few fish off the dock. We are very happy we selected this house.
