About this property

Our home has been recently remodeled and includes a new and updated kitchen and bathroom. With smart television, WIFI, BBQ, safe, beach chairs and others.
Our property managers speak English, are available on site and can assist with other special tourist activities and Covid protocalls. Maid service is not included in the rent but is available through our property managers.The property has twenty four hour security. Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Note: In compliance with Mexican law, El Zalate has a "no smoking" policy in or on the premises at any time and in any form.

Amazing stay

The listing was spot on and it was just as beautiful as you imagine! We came for a wedding but would have much rather sat in the pool or watched the water crashing on the shoreline. It was beautiful and we even got to see a few whales. Definitely worth it!

No commutation.

I messaged the manager several times for the address because it wasn’t coming up on my phone. I had very bad phone service. I never heard back. I was stuck trying to figure out directions. I texted, called and left a voicemail and never heard back. I could not ever get a hold of anyone. When I did I asked for toilet paper, and was told no one is available till the morning. The morning came and they said no sorry 10 am. Go get some at the XO market. That would have been ok but 1 till if toilet paper for 2 people for 4 days. We arrived room wasn’t even cleaned and ready. We won’t be back. I asked if it was a swimmable beach and also never received a response. Again we won’t be back. Not accommodating for what we paid.

Perfect

Great condo, great communication. Very clean and really enjoyed the convenience of the ground floor. Pool was warm as bath water. Love Mama Mia’s!

Our motivation was to locate the perfect warm weather retreat to escape to from our Northern city life. The Baja was out final choice, and has been our go-to-place for over twenty five years. After years of research we chose San Jose over Cabo San Lucas, and El Zalate over all other beachfront resorts. El Zalate checked all the boxes! Location, beachfront, quality of construction, proximity to amenities, size of the complex, private ownership, no time share, quality in maintenance standards, and most important, management's pride in ownership.

Why they chose this property

El Zalate is a small self-owned condominium complex on the beach. One of a very few that is not a time share in San Jose and our unit offers 1,271 square feet of space on the beach.
