Cozy Lil’ Cabin.

Very Clean, charming, open concept type cabin located in the Great Smokey mountains in the town of Sylva, NC. The Lil’ Cabin is fairly new to rentals with rafting/fly fishing/hiking/restaurants/breweries all nearby. Located 10 min from Dillsboro and downtown Sylva, 20 min from Western Carolina University, 25 min from Harrah’s casino in Cherokee, 20 min from Franklin and 1 hr from Asheville.. Note: we have a newly paved road and parking area - No more gravel!!!

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful! The host’s attention to detail was fabulous- everything was so well thought out and welcoming. This is a great property. Communication was great and the owners were very responsive. There are lots of wonderful hikes in the area. The cabin itself is perfect for relaxing. We loved our stay!

Excellent property and very gracious owners. We had everything needed, fire pit, gas’s grill (very clean), and our own bathrooms. Easy access and close to town. We would definitely rent this property again.

My husband, Eric has been coming to these beautiful mountains all his life. We bought the “Cozy Lil’ Cabin” and stayed here every chance we got, visiting from our home in Maryland. We love all there is to do here, from sampling the numerous restaurants and micro breweries in the area to enjoying white water rafting, zip-lining, hiking, fly fishing and taking in the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mtns. Some of our favorites are visiting Dry Falls, Bust your Butt Falls and Slippery Rock. We decided to build our retirement home nearby in these beautiful Smoky mountains and hope others will enjoy our “Cozy Lil’ Cabin” as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

The Lil’ Cabin has a fully covered front porch with table and chairs as well as 4 rocking chairs with views and relaxing sounds of a nearby trout stream. Lil’ Cabin is easily accessible by vehicle and has ample parking. Cabin has stairs and/or handicap ramp for ease of entry into home. Once inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with an open floor concept. * We've just added a guest pantry (next to the kitchen) for your convenience.* There is Direct TV in the living room as well as both bedrooms and has a convenient stacked washer and dryer. There is a bdrm with a queen bed and full bath on 1st floor with access to kitchen and living room (for those with issues with stairs) and a loft bdrm with queen bed and full bath on the 2nd floor. *We've added a gas log fireplace in the living room.*
Enjoy a gas bar-b-que on site as well as a fire pit area that has lights that automatically come on at dark and go off automatically after a few hours (wood and fire starter provided). Relax on the large covered front porch with a cold drink (courtesy of the rustic cooler on front porch) or take in a game of “ring toss” located there. Lock boxes are located at the front as well as the back door - same combination. This cabin is quiet, comfortable and well furnished to ensure a relaxing visit. Owners are nearby and readily available to assist with any questions you may have.
