About this property

This cabin is located in the heart of Maggie Valley, NC and has year round accessibility. For everyone's safety, It is equipped with an outside security camera that faces the driveway only. Maggie’s Hope cabin is located in the city limits of Maggie Valley and is a nice walk or short drive to all the events, great restaurants and quaint shops. It is fully equipped with all linens, kitchen accessories, high-speed internet, Vizio Smart TV, various books, games and basic toiletries. The cabin will sleep 4 comfortably which includes 2 master bedrooms with king size beds. It has 2 bathrooms and half bath/laundry room, a living room, dining room and back porch with 4 rocking chairs, nice swing and a table. Best of all is the BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEW off the back porch! The back meadow is a great place to sight the local Elk and just breath in the fresh air. Cataloochee Ski Area is close by for skiers and tubers in the winter. Lake Junaluska is a 10 minute drive for the family to go walking, fishing, boating or swimming. Biltmore House, historic Waynesville, Cherokee and the Smoky Mountains Parkway are all within a 15 - 40 minute drive. If you are looking for peace and quiet or a place to tour the beautiful Smoky Mountains and surrounding towns, this is a great place for a peaceful getaway or an exciting vacation!

Great views. Clean property.

Driveway was a challenge with dually pickup and trailer. Thank goodness for space and pavement. Loved our stay, very clean and spacious for 2. Awesome spot, great views.

On the advertising it said their was a grill there wasn’t there was a table top one not big enough for four people so bought one and thought we would be nice and leave host complained about it. Then host charged us for supposed smoking insid No One smoked inside at all!!! Both husbands smile she knew this so there is smoke on our clothes again no one smoked in the house didn’t matter she charged us extra for so called smoking we won’t be back . The cabin was nice enough but so dark no garbage cans or tv except in living room no clocks either most cabins we have rented have all of those ! We have rented cabins from vrbo plenty of times never had a problem

We are transplanted South Georgia folk who live in the upstate of beautiful South Carolina. We fell in love with Maggie Valley while on vacation. We decided to buy a cabin that we could enjoy and rent out to guests for extra income during our retirement years. What a great decision! My husband is a fixer upper and I love hosting guests so we make a great team. We look forward to many years enjoying this exciting and lovely area as we host guests and explore the region. Happy trails!

Why they chose this property

We love this cabin because of the location. The beautiful valley with mountain views, wildlife, various hikes and waterfalls are fun, exciting and yet so peaceful. The cabin is rustic with lots of room and charm. It if fully equipped for all your needs. It is like trading one home for another. The back porch is so relaxing with a view of the mountains that always inspires. There is so much to see and do in this area and it is a great place to just kick back and relax!

What makes this property unique

Within walking distance of Maggie Valley shops, restaurants and events that bikers and families love to experience. The cabin has year round accessibility for winter activities and also includes a 2 car garage. We also have great elk viewing in the side meadow of the cabin. It is home away from home with a beautiful mountain view!
