Great cabin
The cabin was great. Perfect location. The hosts were extremely responsive and they provided more than we could have wanted. The s’mores fixings and wine were a great touch!
Wonderful spot and responsive hosts. The cabin was beautifully furnished and spotless. There were plenty of unexpected extras, like a bottle of wine and s’mores fixings. We’d stay here again!
Cabin was clean and included everything that you would need during a stay. The last mile or so to get to the cabin was a gravel road. The host provided a lot of information about the area that was useful.
Quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to spend a week. Plenty to do if you don’t mind a mountain drive. Great hikes and sights to see. Cabin stocked well with nice amenities. The place is comfortable on the inside and out. Really nice fire pit, front porch rocking chairs, propane fire pit on deck, everything was great!!
The cabin was the perfect setting in the woods. It was clean and well decorated. Loved the extra touches (ie smores kit and wine for our kid free getaway).
My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time in this clean, comfy, peaceful and beautifully appointed cabin. We would love to return one day.
Many thanks to our hosts.
We went for get a way to get away from work and busy south Florida . It was lovely , quiet , not far from town , 35 mins depending the way you go . Beautiful falls close by . We plan on returning.
This cabin was nice and cozy, great location and the owner provided lots of information in advance and went out of their way with some thoughtful extra touches. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities and very nice pots, pans and utensils. Overall the cabin was comfortable and we look forward to returning on another trip.
We had a great time staying at this cabin. It had pretty much everything we needed already there, and the hosts even provided a bottle of wine for us. Lots of space, nice covered porch with a gas fire pit, lots of trees. Excellent communication from the host. Grocery store, great selection of restaurants, etc. within a 25 minute drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Mountain retreat
Wonderful week in the mountains. Cooler weather arrived just in time. The cabin had everything we might need. Owner provided lots of info re activities in the area. Lots of extras many rentals do not provide. Thankful for the paved driveway!
If you’re looking to get away from everything, this is the place. Had everything we needed to relax and enjoy being away from normal daily life. Cabin was clean and very well stocked. No issues with cell service or internet. So quiet. All we ever heard was wind or rain.
We needed to escape the Florida summer heat. This cabin did the job. Resting at nearly 4,000 feet elevation, the August nights were cool and the days were pleasant. The cabin had everything one could want, and the owners' special attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Very clean and well maintained. And....a paved driveway for easy access up the hill. I'm coming back for sure.

Beautiful Cabin
We vacation a lot and this was one of the nicest cabins I've stayed in. They had everything you would need for your trip. Eloquently decorated. If you get in late, just know all eating establishments in Cashiers close at 9pm. Driveway is steep, not sure if our 4WD would have made it if it were snowing. We brought our dirt bike trailer to go riding nearby and learned we needed to leave it at the bottom of the driveway, luckily there was room, and no one messed with it. Lots of things to do nearby and the book the owner provided was very helpful. Would have loved to stay longer!
Living in Florida, we cherish our mountain vacation getaways and always spend quite a bit of time looking for the perfect cabin. We found it. The owners of this property genuinely care about their guests' experience. The cabin is immaculate, luxurious, comfortable and private. We enjoyed the view from the wrap around porch, especially while drinking our morning coffee and deciding what sort of adventure to get in to that day. There are lots of options as this cabin is centrally located. It's about a 25 minute scenic drive to some of the best hiking trails in the region, shopping, restaurants and brewpubs in Highlands or Cashiers, as well as skiing in Sapphire. After a full day, it was fun cooking dinner in the their well equipped kitchen or on the gas grill and then kicking our feet up and watching tv in front of the fire place. We really appreciated all the nice touches and details that were thought of which helped make our vacation at Nestled on Taylor Creek one of our more memorable trips. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Home Rental The Way It Should Be
The cabin was exactly as described, but most importantly was what wasn't described. What was a true delight was having everything you would need available to you at the cabin. The salt and pepper were not locked up, nor were you just provided a quarter roll of paper towels. It truly was turn key, and by today's standards, over and above what you'd expect from a rental. They had s'more makings available for my kids. They had a bottle of wine for us by the bath tub. They had 4 full propane tanks in case one ran out for the grill or fire pit. Literally everything that is considered basic or essential was thought about. It was so incredibly nice to be reminded what renting a home used to be like. I'm thankful to the owners for going above and beyond, and for doing it the right way. It was so refreshing.
We went to the mountains for a little get away. This “nest” was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. We weren’t real familiar with the area and wanted to do some exploring so this was perfect. We went to dinner in Highlands, antique shopping in Franklin, spent a little time visiting Cashiers and went to a winery in Rabun Gap, GA.
Very clean to our high standards and comfortable high quality furniture. The little touches: coffee in the cabin, materials for s’mores, bottle of wine, abundant towels, kitchen very well equipped and with necessary supplies, bed excellent. Hosts were very kind, provided us with knowledge of the area, and were readily available. Hope to return in the near future.
