Perfect location for a relaxing, fun stay

Stayed four nights with my mom, spouse, and three kids ages 13-19. Amazing location so close to Magazine St, gourmet grocery store, indie bookstore, Commander's Palace, and St. Charles streetcar. Lovely space with super comfortable beds. Super prompt response from host when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a memorable Thanksgiving trip.

We were in town for the Sugar Bowl. The property and management team [go Juantia!] were awesome. Super clean and comfortable for a very large party. We also found the management company flexible and easy to work with as our plans changed with the delayed start of the game. Highly recommend.

It was the perfect setting for this Bride and her family..location of church and venue were all within 5 to 10 minutes. This establishment was clean..no pets..loved the decor and the taste of NOLA. I highly recommend this location. Owners were wonderful to work with. Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your establishment

Even more beautiful in person!

The property is located in a great location central to the Garden District, and a very quick trolley/cab/Uber to the French Quarter. The pictures on the website do not do the house justice, as it is much more spacious than we expected. There is also a backyard, which was a welcome surprise. Juanita was extremely helpful and responsive. We had a group in town for New Years, and the house could not have been more perfect. The next time we plan a trip to New Orleans, the first thing we'll do is check to see if Juanita's home is available!

The Duchess is charming and well-appointed. Location is good and near many of the weekend's wedding frivoloties. Comfy beds, strong air conditioning and all the comforts of home. The ideal home base for us!

Beautiful home, great location!

We took a trip this past weekend May 27-29 to New Orlean's and stayed at the Duchess. The pictures do not do this place justice! It is beautiful! It exceeded our expectations. Plenty of space for everyone. The home was very clean. We were able to park in the designated spots right in front of the home. Easy walk to Magazine and bus #11 picks you up 1 block down on the corner of Magazine and Washington which can take you down to Canal St. and also WWII Museum. We also used the streetcar but that is a bit further walk. When we walked down to Magazine, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Discoveries furniture one of the shops I wanted to visit was on that block. Also on that block of Magazine, Another Broken Egg, Brick and Spoon, CC's and Starbucks were located. Overall it was an awesome weekend! Only negative is you may want to bring some paper plates and bowls as there were only a few plates and no bowls.

Amazing Home

Our entire group of 7 women thought this was the most beautiful, amazing home that we have ever rented. It far exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the layout, being that it was so spacious. Loved having 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths! Home was exceptionally clean, furnishings were lovely and beds were very comfortable. Parking was not a problem and neighbors were extremely nice. We definitely will book your home again! Thank you - our stay was fabulous!!!!

Great choice of a VRBO

I am a New Orleans native who moved many years ago. When I was bringing my family to the Big Easy, I wanted a place that had a New Orleans feel. Your place exceeded my expectations. I loved the house and enjoyed walking around looking at all of the decorative items. Some of my New Orleans family came by to meet us and were also very impressed. We felt very at home for our entire stay. We liked that the walk to St Charles to catch the streetcar was reasonable although we ended up driving and parking right by St Charles since it was cold and rainy. We took advantage of the great places and restaurants just a block over. The beds were all very comfortable. The layout of the house was great. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of space for all of us to both be together and to have privacy. I appreciated your responsiveness to my emails. I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
