The house was as advertised....It was a great location....It was 3 minutes to the town with the restaurants, shops and the Tubac golf resort...The house was very large, clean and had great views of the mountains...The owners were extremely easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.....

Beautiful home in a peaceful rural setting, great hosts
This was our first VRBO experience and it is going to be hard to top this. Home was spacious with a split bedroom floor plan (each with their own bathroom), comfortable common areas, a large enclosed yard for the dog, and very well equipped for our needs. There was plenty of storage and a two car garage. Lots of attention to detail by the owners to ensure we had what we needed to be comfortable. Home is close to the quaint village of Tubac, a historic artist community south of Tucson. Green Valley is just 20 minutes away for golf at 6 public courses and grocery shopping. We had visited Tubac over 20 years ago and found it was delightful and charming now as then. Thanks to the owners for their kind quick replies. We had a great visit.

Wonderful Spot!
We enjoyed our 6-week stay here outside of Tubac. It gave us the quiet and seclusion we like even though there is a small RV park adjacent to this property. We never heard a peep from anyone over there. We enjoyed the bird watching as well. It has a nice spacious feel and layout so that we were able to have overnight guests who had their own end of the house and their own bathroom. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. The owner's sister Jennifer was always quick to answer by text or phone to take care of any of our questions or needs.

Loved the Privacy
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Alexis's house and the location of the house to town was perfect. Close enough to town, yet far enough away to have our privacy.
We have vacationed in Scottsdale and Tucson, but we love the town of Tubac for the size, culture, and food.
Thank you for putting out the bird feeder blocks which brought a variety of birds. Felt like home with the visit of a cardinal every day.
We didn't see any jack rabbits until one day when a bobcat appeared out front and in the back area beyond the fence we saw the scattering of jack rabbits. What an awesome experience to see this wildlife.
We used the fireplace every day which kept us nice and cozy since the weather was unusually cool but being from the midwest we were not complaining!
We got massages from Jennifer (Alexis's sister) next door at Sunflower Camp. It was well needed and enjoyed.
Had some adventures on the beach cruisers that we won't forget.
We were pleasantly surprised by a wonderful basket of goodies from the hostess.
Not much more I can say, except we had a wonderful vacation in a perfect spot as our home away from home.

Home Away from Home House with Enclosed Sun Porch and Patio in Country Setting
This home had it all--a well-appointed kitchen, which meant no searching for spices and the right skillet, bowl, or pan. The lay-out of the house is excellent with the two bedrooms on either side of the living room. BIG master bedroom with huge walk-in closet. The large, enclosed sun porch was perfect for evening meals and the sliding glass doors provided a nice breeze in the evening. My husband is a birder and enjoyed quiet mornings on the patio. Having a member of the owner's family so close by was a definite plus. We definitely will return.

Peaceful, Secluded Casita!!
This casita was a dream for us, as it was located within walking distance from our brother's house. Very comfortable and homey casita in a quiet location close to wonderful Tubac Village. The casita was well equipped with everything you could possibly need and a wonderful homey feel. Our hosts were most considerate, gracious and helpful and full of information from initial contact to departure. [Thank you!] We so enjoyed the bikes that are provided and rode to the village and nearby Golf Resort and to our brother's house, and sometimes just rode in a big loop around the village. What a wonderful addition to our trip the bikes were!! All shopping, groceries, restaurants and any amenities you can think of were well within walking distance. We enjoyed the cry of the peacocks and the wild bunny in the yard! Upon our departure we felt like we were leaving home! We will most definitely be back next year and hope this little gem is available for our stay!!

About the host
Hosted by Alexis Coleman
I grew up in the Santa Cruz Valley. Some of my childhood was spent in the adjacent geodesic dome just to the east of this property. My sister still lives there! The peacefulness and uniqueness of this property is grounding to my family and I. Our three children all spend time here when they were young enjoying the rural environment and learning to appreciate quiet.
What makes this property unique
Our property allows privacy while still being less than a mile from the center of Tubac and the Tubac Country Club. Our nearest neighbor is my sister who lives about 150 yards away! Close if you need something! Secure and secluded, our property offers the opportunity to unwind and enjoy the mountainous views.
