This cabin was absolutely wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The surrounding woods were beautiful, the hot tub was beyond relaxing, and the cabin itself was cozy. We honestly can't wait to book our next stay.

Isolated, clean, exactly as described. Close enough to town yet far enough away. Will definitely be repeat customers!

This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, well stocked with amenities & private. The hot tub was also clean. If you want a quiet get-away then this is it. The communications with the owners were great! It's definitely a go to place. I absolutely recommend this cabin.
It was very clean and private. The only thing I’d wish for was more towels.

Thank you Carlos! We look forward to your future stay with us!
It was a beautiful cabin. We loved it soo much. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking:) We made some raccoon friends too :) We were alittle bummed it wasn't closer to the trails, but still loved the area. The cabin had things I didn't expect there... pots, pans, qtips, flashlights, etc. The owners thought of everything:)
Everything was just as expected. The only thing I’d mention is it listed a fireplace so I brought a lot of wood to burn for 5 days but it was electric. So I brought a trunk load of wood for nothing. Otherwise I had no complaints.

Thank you Joe for the review! We are very sorry you brought wood because you thought it was a wood burning stove as you had mentioned to us but it is listed as an electric fireplace not a wood burning stove or fireplace.
Hello John,
Thank you for the review. We are sorry the water pressure wasn't good during your stay. We have actually not had any other complaints so we were unaware. We did reach out however the second day of your stay to see if you had any questions and you did not say anything about the water pressure. That may have been an easy fix. We like to have the chance to fix any issues during our guests stay.
Hopefully you will try us again in the future.
Thanks again!
Love the property, location and set up. Love the ease of check in and the personal touches.
I would have loved curtains to keep out morning light so I can sleep in on vacation 😊. Instructions in welcome folder for fire place (I thought it was for ambience) but I also could have missed them 🙃. The refrigerator door opens really fast and made need leveled. More hot water for the jacuzzi.
Looking forward to maybe a trip in the spring/summer. This cabin is so comfortable it felt just like home.

Thank you for the review Rebecca. We will most certainly look into the issues you have listed. The outdoor hot tub always has fresh hot water to the fill level so you must be talking about the indoor jacuzzi tub. We will look into why you didn’t have enough hot water for the indoor jacuzzi.
Once again, thank you and we look forward to your return.
My wife and I Love this cabin! We have spent the last two years in this cabin for our anniversary inflate December. Right away we fell in Love with this Beautiful Cabin. Our first year when we opened the door it was breathtaking. A beautiful Christmas tree was lit with soft holiday music playing on the tv. White lights wrapped around the porch. The place was very clean. It just felt like this is the right cabin for us. We will continue to use this cabin every year. The owners are very easy to reach if you need anything but I believe everything we needed was already there. If you want a nice romantic getaway for two, this is the place for you. Don't look anywhere else because this cabin is Beautiful with an amazing setting in the woods!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review Scott! We are so happy you returned to stay with us and are so happy you enjoyed your stay in December. We look forward to your next visit!
Few notable things:
There is no dishwasher on site, so bring disposable utensils if you do not want to do dishes during your trip.
The stove is a little lacking to my standards. Pans took a long time to heat up and cooked food somewhat unevenly.
The advertised fishing pond did not seem stocked when we went to fish, but this could be because we booked our stay during the tail end of winter.
Chlorine content for Hot Tub is quite high. Irritated my and my partner’s skin, and we had to shower after every single time we used it.
All of these are minor complaints. Cabin was still comfortable, and most amenities worked great. Was a bit far from the most iconic hikes in hocking hills (30 minutes from old man’s cave, cantwell cliffs), so keep that in mind before booking.

Hello Patrizio,
Thank you for the review. We greatly appreciate it.
I'm sorry you weren't aware of there being no dishwasher. It's not listed in the amenities. We have not heard any complaints about the stove so we will be sure to look at it right away.
Fishing is not the best until May. The ponds are still very cold in March.
I'm sorry about the chemicals in the hot tub irritating your skin. We actually don't use chlorine, we use bromine which is actually less harsh on your skin. We change the water in between each stay and check the chemicals again before check ins. We haven't had any other complaints but we will look into it. Next time we do suggest reaching out about the hot tub because we could have easily adjusted the chemicals for you.
Also, it is listed in the description that we are not right next to the state parks. We are 4 miles from Boch Hollow Nature Preserve but the rest are on the other side of the county. We are located where its less congested with cabins.
Thank you!
The cabin is very secluded, very clean and updated ! the hot tub sits on an outside patio overlooking a wooded ravine ! Very beautiful especially when the leaves are changing ! Only suited for one couple with maybe two or three kids. Five star
This stay was magical. It was the perfect property for an unplugged getaway from our busy/stressful lives. We walked the grounds the moment we got there, just exploring the woods and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. We tried a few of the places recommended by the Meyers, so good! Everything down to the smallest detail of having the hot tub already hot and cute music on for when we walked into the cabin was amazing. Only complaint was not staying longer!!!
Piece of advice for future bookers: make sure to look in your email for directions to the cabin! GPS doesn’t take you to the correct place. But emailed directions were spot on. Thank you again, we will be coming back!!!
Great cabin , nice property and close to Hocking hills attractions
Cabin owner replied to my questions almost immediately and everything was perfect
