Our modern high specification farmhouse located on the South Coast of Barbados, near Oistins, offers 5 individual and uniquely styled linked units (of which this 2-bedroomed unit is one). The other 4 units can be seen on: 7447155;7447211, 744256 and 7447235.

The farmhouse has been designed with flexibility and comfort in mind and for a diverse range of people. It is situated on a large plot of land with fully landscaped tropical gardens to the front and open rolling farmland to the rear.

The location of the farmhouse enables it to receive constant cooling easterly winds and breezes. It also provides a calm and relaxing environment and is slightly located away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas of the nearby Oistins town, with its bank, supermarket, bars, and wide range of places to eat and other amenities.

The farmhouse is situated within a 10-15 minutes car drive of the: Airport; Oistins town centre with its famous "Friday night fish fry" ; Enterprise and Miami beaches; Surfers beach clubs as well as the famous St Lawrence Gap night spot.

A local bus/pick-up service operates close-by and is available within a 5 minute walk of the complex.

This unit comprise of 2 double bedrooms, which accommodates 4 persons and has 1.5 bathrooms. The 2 bedrooms are wheelchair accessible.

There is also a large patio area to the rear of the property that is suitable for al-fresco dining or just enjoying the outdoor space. The accommodation benefits from a fully equipped open plan kitchen and living area.

This self contained unit has a car parking space; solar water heating and air conditioning is provided within all bedrooms . The unit has remote controlled ceiling fans and insect screens; a smart TV and Wifi facilities to ensure your comfort and well-being.

The light airy spacious kitchen has a full range of self catering equipment and these include: microwave; oven; cooker; fridge; toaster together with crockery; cutlery and other equipment and utensils.

There is a washing machine available for use, by prior arrangement and for a small additional charge..

Bedding and towels are provided and changed once per week.

A cleaning service is available at a rate of 40 pounds sterling per day as requested.

A travel cot is available for use on request.

We can also provide a welcome pack to ease you into life in Barbados after your long journey. Just let us know, prior to your arrival what you need.

Our local management service will also be at hand to assist you.

All five units within the farmhouse can be reserved for long-term rental subject to availability, and rates are available on request.

I built the property over a 2 year period and completed it in December 2018.
I studied and worked in England before deciding to embark on my personal dreams of of building/owning and managing a holiday complex in Barbados.
I love listening to all forms of music and am an ardent follower of sports. I am an Arsenal football Club supporter.
This development has been built on a 5 acre plot of land and the next phase of the project is to develop a tropical orchard and build a natural water swimming pool; and hosting a small flock of black belly sheep and free range chicken.
I am passionate about providing an excellent service to my guests as I was once responsible for managing large service companies in England.

Why they chose this property

The property has been designed to incorporate some of the architectural qualities that were found in Caribbean houses generations ago: shutter style windows, verandahs and open plan.
Over 95% of all the wooden structures, including windows, were made on site by local craftsmen and craftswomen. This also includes the beds!
This property has also been designed to cater for wheelchair accessible visitors.
Whilst trying a capture a feel of a yesteryear bajan property it offers all the modern amenities one would expect to have.

What makes this property unique

Uniquely designed with an unusual colour decoration in the areas of this home. It has a wooh factor feel.
The rear facing patios facing the prevailing easterly trade-winds provides a constant breeze that is "second to none" and which would lull you to sleep.
