For check in, we needed to go to the Field Office, which was fine, there was a short line, but it did add another 30 minutes to the process.The house was nice, as advertised, great view from the top deck. When reserving, the map shows the house right on the river. Only later, after reservation, it showed the accurate location. It was Easter weekend, so did not want to look around for other accommodations. The location is good though, lots of animals near by. The only small negative is that there was no soap, no shampoo, no coffee, no tea, no water, not even for the first day.

Thank you so much for your review and for your kind words — we truly appreciate it. We do understand that the key collection process may have been a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, it is part of the protocol we need to follow, especially during busy weekends when multiple guests are making use of the same service point. As advertised, the house is fully self-catering, which is why we do not provide items such as coffee, tea, bottled water, or bathroom amenities. We aim to be transparent about this so guests can plan accordingly, as we are not a B&B. We’d also like to clarify, as mentioned at the time of booking, that while we are close to the river, the property is not located directly on it, and we do not advertise a river view. We do hope you still had an enjoyable stay overall, and we would love to welcome you back again in the near future.
