Nice vacation but had problems

The property here is pretty good. But they have a dumb reservation policy. You can’t book two rooms under the same name. They don’t tell you that until you get there. I ran into that problem this blast weekend. So my friends were locked out of their room for an hour. The front desk told us we had to call the owner and have them make the name change. That would be easy if it wasn’t at 11:30pm on Friday of Labor Day weekend. In the end they let us slide because we couldn’t get a holder of the owner. But what a dumb rule. Be warned!!!

Unit is nice but they are understaffed and not enforcing covid rules

The unit was nice And clean and spacious. Yet, we could not get in until 7:30pm the first night. Check in time was supposed to be 3:00pm. It was 100 degrees and I was with two kids so we were forced to be in the car until we could get keys. Their reason is they are understaffed. I understand businesses are struggling to operate with covid rules but they should not be fully booking the place if they don’t have enough staff. The manager said there was nothing they could do. I contacted VRBO and they den my to vacations simplified who is a 3rd party hat booked the unit. They offered a voucher for 2 for 1 at restaurants. I would have to pay to activate the card so this does not help make up for the 3.5 hour delay I’m checking in. There were also a lot of people not wearing masks on the property.
