Ideally situated just 11 miles from central Truckee, this secluded mountain view home is 15 miles from Donner Lake in the summer, and only 18 miles from the ski slopes of Northstar California Resort in the winter.

With exposed pine ceilings, stone accents, and a rustic wood stove, the grand living space is full of mountain atmosphere. Curl up with a good book on the large sectional sofa, or turn on a DVD or VHS favorite on the TV.

Enjoy sweeping forest views from the full kitchen, where you'll also find two ovens, a dishwasher, and a bar counter for your chopping sous chefs. The adjacent dining room features seating for six, while the gorgeous outdoor deck has a gas grill and patio seating for the warm summer months.

When you're not skiing, snowboarding, swimming, or hiking, you'll find endless opportunities for fun at the Valley View Estate. In addition to the pool table, foosball table, and flatscreen TV in the downstairs game room, there are sleds, bikes, and a private disc golf course on the property.

And don't worry about the lack of cell phone service here. This home has WiFi, a trusty landline, and a private washer and dryer for additional convenience.

A maximum of 10 guests will sleep comfortably at the Valley View Estate, as well as one dog for a small additional fee. The four bedrooms feature one king-size bed, three queen beds, three twin beds, and two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds. You'll find three-and-a-half bathrooms, as well as a bit of extra privacy in the top floor apartment suite.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
