For a relaxing family getaway, Villa Lucija in peaceful village of Cilipi offers a private pool, jacuzzi, sea view, and easy access to Dubrovnik. This 120 m² penthouse includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, family room, and two balconies. The outdoor area features a jacuzzi, BBQ, dining space, sunbeds, and a lounge sofa – all exclusively yours.
Villa Lucija is located in a small village of Cilipi, 22 km south of Dubrovnik and 8 km from Cavtat, one of Top 10 European Best Destinations in 2019 and 2021. The village has long tradition of folklore dances performed every Sunday in front of St. Nicholas church. In a walking distance from Villa Lucija there are several restaurants, pizzeria and 3 cafe bars.
The apartment in our Villa consists of three bedrooms accomodating 6 person. One bedroom comprises either King size bed or 2 single beds and other two bedrooms provide Queen size beds. Two private bathrooms are at your disposal as well.
From a comfortable and newly furnished living and dining area and a fully equipped modern kitchen you can enjoy breathtaking view over the sea and cypress wood. Enjoying in a morning cafe at the balcony with beautiful sea view and the bird song will surely be one of your greatest vacation memories.
All the rooms and the living area are equipped with an individually adjustable air conditioning system, SAT TV and free Wi-Fi.
By the outdoor pool and jacuzzi area there is also a kitchen with BBQ area. If you prefer sun - our 6 sunbeds, pool towels and poolside shower are at your disposal. If you prefer shade you can relax in a lounge area overlooking pristine nature and the sea. From our outdoor jacuzzi area the water falls slightly into the pool. Property, south faced, is fenced so you will enjoy full privacy and sun all day long.

In the night, when all is quiet, you can relax and enjoy in a sky full of stars surrounded by illuminated stone walls and olive tree.

We are just back from our second stay at Villa Lucija and I would happily go back again and again. Everything from the very welcoming hosts to the property itself and the surrounding area is just perfect. We always hire a car if visiting and it is very easy to get around. The location so close to the airport is great too.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Lucija. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, even offering to pick us up from the airport and allowing us an earlier check in.The place was spotless and was plenty of space for the five of us (3x double bedrooms and x2 bathrooms). The outdoor space was the real highlight - featuring a big pool, lots of sun loungers, a sofa and dining area, and fully equipped outdoor kitchen. We had a lovely BBQ one evening! The location was also perfect, only a short drive to beautiful Cavtat where you can get a ferry into Dubrovnik. Or you can get a 30-40 min Uber into the city if preferred.Would definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lucija from 8th–18th July 2025. The villa is absolutely stunning, immaculate, beautifully designed, and even better than the photos. The view is lovely, and the 4-minute airport transfer was a game changer!Inside, the villa is spacious and stylish with air conditioning in every room, though we often enjoyed the natural breeze and left the AC off during the day. I haven’t slept so well in years!The outdoor area is a highlight, the pool gets sun all day, the loungers are super comfy, and the jacuzzi section is a bonus. We loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and shaded dining area, which became our main hangout, especially in the evenings.Čilipi is peaceful yet convenient, with a great pizzeria and small supermarkets just a short walk away. We used Uber instead of renting a car, super easy and reliable, with trips to Cavtat (14) and Dubrovnik (32).Lucija, our host, was amazing, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. She even brought us homemade pancakes and a delicious blueberry trifle. On our last day, with a late flight, she stored our bags and met us at the airport. Truly exceptional hospitality.We highly recommend Villa Lucija for anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious Croatian escape. We made amazing memories and can’t wait to return!

I was booking for Dubrovnik but we were so pleasantly surprised to be at this property away from the crowds of Dubrovnik. The owner was great, telling us about a trail that we walked for a few hours to the quaint town of Cavtat. We were only able to stay at the property a few days but it was beautiful, large, clean and we felt very safe!

Beautiful property!

Lucius and Stipica provided an absolutely wonderful stay for us! They are so welcoming and sincere. Delicious goodies and homemade wine waiting for us! The apartment, pool, outdoor area are all absolutely immaculate and designed so perfectly. Everything is very spacious and the view is perfect! Loved the village, the church bells, and evening Mass. Lovely week in this beautiful country and amazing villa. We loved the quiet location with beach bar that we walked to with crystal clear water and within east reach of Cavtat. Villa itself was excellent. Kids were always in the pool and we made great use of the outside kitchen. Couldn’t have asked for more from our friendly hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Lucija. Lucija was the perfect host - treating us to gifts of cake, figs and pancakes during our stay. The Villa is beautiful, impeccably clean and has everything you could possibly need. The pool is a great size with a jacuzzi. 6 sunbeds, wonderful outdoor kitchen and beautiful terrace. Definitely recommend the pizzeria in the town square - we dined there twice - very cheap just €7 for a delicious large pizza. Well stocked supermarket within walking distance. Simply amazing place. A wonderful stay at Villa Lucija

We have just returned from a fabulous 9 days at this property. Honestly I can say it was perfect. So easy with our young family, a beautiful home and spotlessly clean. The family is so lovely and Lucija surprised us with lovely items of home made treats and produce from their garden which was absolutely appreciated. The nicest tomatoes we have eaten. We hope to return to this beautiful region of Croatia and to this property. We were very sad to leave.

Great choice

Villa Lucija was a great choice for our holidays! We have been there in June, the weather was perfect so we could enjoy the outdoor kitchen, pool and whirlpool. I didn't miss anything. Lucija greeted us when we arrived, she made welcome snacks (she even made me dessert for my birthday!) Communication was very easy and very nice. Thank you for being our host!

First class property in immaculate condition, well designed and very well looked after . Lovely pool and patio area with outdoor kitchen again finished to a very high standard. The owners are cool and friendly and hardly noticed them around . Mini market/ pizza restaurant/ coffee shop/ bar five minutes stroll/ Cevtat 5km away has plenty of restaurants in a nice harbour setting. Lots of seafarering options from here and Dubrovnik is a must. Treat yourself and stay at Villa Lucia

Villa Lucija

Our stay at the villa was wonderful. Lucija is a fantastic and attentive host and the villa is superbly equipped and fantastically clean. Plenty of aircon makes it extremely comfortable at all times of the day. She presented many little extras like wraps and small cakes when we arrived, fresh figs picked from the garden, picked us up from the airport and even made us all a delicious chocolate/tiramisu dessert! The pool, outside kitchen and veranda area is spacious and of the highest quality, with a view towards the sea. Looks fantastic at night lit up! I highly recommend a stay here - it's only 10 minutes to Cavtat which is great little resort, and 30 minutes to Dubrovnik, which is lovely but very busy this time of year.

A wonderful stay with superb hosts!

The property is modern and beautifully presented with excellent living accommodation and views across the local countryside. In addition to the inside living is a superb outside space offering a covered lounge and dining area and a magnificent further kitchen area where we enjoyed preparing two BBQs in the warmth of the evening sun. The pool and jacuzzi complete this stunning outside facility. The great holiday home is set in the delightful village of Cillipi only a few minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport, has a lovely pizzeria where we ate twice, a small supermarket and every Sunday between Easter and October they host a charming folklore event including music and dancing that is worth seeing. The icing on the cake are the wonderful hosts who are onsite but whilst they give you total privacy they are on hand to help out with any query or support you may need. We have used VRBO a lot both in the UK and in mainland Europe but have never experienced hosts better than Lucija and Stipica - thank you! Not surprisingly we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to others!

Beautiful Villa Lucija Cilipi Stay

We loved our stay at Villa Lucija. Everything was as described and better. Well-appointed indoor and outdoor kitchen, modern, spotless. The outdoor space was perfect with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The pool was fantastic. Everything is so well maintained. The hosts were lovely. Lucija brought us homemade treats which were amazing. We really enjoyed the Sunday singing and dancing in the church square, you might recognize one of the singers... We drove to Dubrovnik, parked on the outskirts and took UBER to get closer to old town. The City of Cavtat was close by with many restaurants and pubs, shopping. Cilipi has a pub, a pizza place grocery store and small meat store, all within walking distance. We visited a beach a short drive away which was beautiful. The airport is very close which is great for arriving and departing, we heard the planes occasionally when we were outside, but did not hear them when we were inside, and they certainly didn't affect our stay at the beautiful villa. I would highly recommend Villa Lucija Cilipi.

A fantastic apartment with an amazing outdoor space

We are a family of four (inc. two daughters 16 and 15) and had two weeks in the villa. The villa is a top floor apartment of a lovely stone building. It is very modern and exceptionally clean. Three big bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The views from the balconies are exceptional out to the sea over the forest. It contained every thing you need and benefitted from a large smart TV as well. Even better than this though was the outdoor space. The photos dont really do it justice, the outdoor kitchen is fully equipped (including fridge, dishwasher and ice machine) with a great bbq. It is a superb space to cook, read, drink and watch the sun set over the forest with the views extending over the pool to the sea. The pool is a great size and deep enough to dive in, with a lovely jacuzzi attached to it. All in all we would totally recommend a stay here. Lucija our host was also lovely, she was around when we needed her and left us to our devices. She also kept leaving treats for us of local wine, figs, deserts and local spirits. We had a wonderful two weeks and would not hesitate to rebook the same villa. Location is also good, being just 5 minutes from the airport (you do hear the planes taking off at times but its not too much of a distraction as it isnt all the time). Five minute drive to the nearest beach, 10 minute drive to Cavtat and about 30 minutes to Dubrovnik. You will need a car You won't be disappointed.

Nothing less than perfect!

We (family of four) stayed 11 nights in the apartment in Villa Lucija and we couldn’t fault a thing. I was initially apprehensive thinking we might not have much privacy (without having the full Villa) but I was proved completely wrong. We only ever saw our lovely hosts when we needed them or when they surprised us with lovely home made treats. The apartment itself was really spacious with three good size double rooms and was immaculate. Everything was just perfect, even down to the softest pool towels!! We visited in the heatwave but it wasn’t a problem as there was AC in each room and the outdoor terrace had everything we needed… the pool, large shaded lounge/dining area, outdoor shower and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. It was only a very short walk to the local cafe bar, pizzeria and supermarket which were all great, but also a short drive to Cavtat which is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been. The photos of the property look lovely, but even they don’t do it justice…. All so much nicer in reality. And with the kindest, most helpful and welcoming hosts, we hope to return again. A modern and sweet retreat

The pictures do not do this place justice. The hosts were gracious and communication was seamless. We were greeted by a plate of homemade cookies in our kitchen and delicious homemade individual vanilla pudding desserts days later (in our outdoor kitchen--the hosts did not enter the villa while we were there.) We arrived early and were able to check in hours before we were due to. The house and pool area were spotless. The pool was cleaned by a pool fairy every night and was ready for us in the morning. Pool towels were provided as were bath towels. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a small supermarket within walking distance from the place that will have all the basics you need. The floors inside were the most solid we've ever walked on as were the doors in addition to being almost soundproof for the most quiet and tranquil sleep you'll ever have. There is a washing machine in the bathroom and a drying rack out on the terrace. We were able to get several loads of laundry done. It is a 3 minute drive to the airport, but for some reason you can barely hear any airplanes overhead. If you are looking to go into Dubrovnik old town, you either need to rent a car or take an uber (at the time of this review, it's between $50 and $60 each way, depending on how many passengers). But, there was always an uber available. Do not miss the Museum which is a 2 minute walk (on the way to the supermarket). Would definitely return to this wonderful home. Thank you.

A really lovely apartment

We have just returned from our 9 day holiday with our three children (10, 8 and 5) and cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Lucija and her husband were wonderful hosts, meeting us on arrival and showing us around the beautiful property, not to mention providing lunch, as well as dropping off treats throughout the week! The apartment is brand new and finished to a very high specification, and is fully equipped and beautifully furnished. What's more, the pool area (which is also brand new and really lovely) has its own "outdoor kitchen" and bbq area. We were concerned that the close proximity to the airport would mean a lot of aeroplane noise. However, most days we heard barely any aeroplanes at all, and when they were taking off in our direction it really wasn't a big deal and certainly wouldn't stop me recommending this property. We had hired a car which I think is essential; that way we could easily explore the area, including nearby Cavtat (which is a nice marina town with lots of restaurants, and from where we took the boat to Dubrovnik). It was also just a short drive to the border with Montenegro, where we went for lunch one day. We found lots of beaches and the all-important rock-jumping in to the sea! (big tip: make sure you take swimming shoes as the beaches are stoney). The village of Cilipi has a nice square with a beautiful church, a café/bar and a pizzeria. On Sunday mornings there is the opportunity to watch traditional dancing in the square, accompanied by singing and music. Thank you for a wonderful holiday - the most relaxing and fun yet, we will be back!

#Four Ladies Do Europe

The property was only 10 mins from Dubrovnik airport. We got there late at night due to flight delay and Lucija was there to meet us. She had prepared a snack too including a lovely bottle of her own wine. The villa was exactly like the photos but even better. We hired a car which I think was needed but there are taxis and buses from the village also. We watched the folk dancing in the village on Sunday morning and went to the local pizzeria where they were very friendly and spoke English. Pizzas and pasta were amazing and so reasonable. We loved Cavtat which was about 15 minutes away with a lovely harbour and various bars and restaurants and where you could get a ferry to a number of places including Dubrovnik and Korcula. We went on the three island cruise which was all day for around £40 which included lunch and all drinks. Monulat was another lovely quiet harbour nearby. We went over the border to Montenegro but make sure if you are hiring a car that you tell them you are visiting there as there is a small cost. We visited Kotor which was very nice and we shortened the return by getting a car ferry part of the way as it does take about 1.5 hours or so. The villa had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, lovely pool and jacuzzi, outside kitchen where we spent most of our time when around the pool with plenty of sun beds. The villa has air conditioning too essential on those balmy nights. Lucija was always on the end of the phone if we had questions and surprised us with little treats from time to time. The villa was spotless and also provided us with towels for the pool too so no need to take one. The views are spectacular too from the villa. I would definitely recommend this villa as it had everything apart from a toilet downstairs which Lucija said they were putting in this year so just perfect!! Hope to go back again at some stage. Had a wonderful time at Villa Lucija. We had long lazy days beside the pool along with al fresco dining using the outside kitchen, the villa itself was very high quality and a real home from home. There was only a short walk to shops and even a bar and pizzeria. Cavtat and Dubrovnik were in easy reach for days out. To top all this Lucija and Stipica were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome with home made treats and nothing was any bother to them. This was a holiday we will not forget for a long time and could Not recommended highly enough.

Cavtat - one of Top 10 European best destinations in 2019 is only at 10 minutes drive or 2 hours walk on a beautiful walking path. Dubrovnik is 22 km away from Cilipi. If you are coming by plane to nearby Dubrovnik airport, we provide free airport shuttle.
