Kisumu House 1. Comfort, serene, scenic & homely.

This is a two-bedroom house located in a secure homestead. The house is located in Mamboleo area 15minutes drive from Kisumu city center.
The house is tastefully furnished providing all necessary amenities for a memorable stay in Kisumu. The house has a scenic view of the Kajulu hills with wide windows and doors for natural lighting and air circulation. The house is surrounded by well kept lawn and a kitchen garden that offers fresh supply of organic vegetables, fruits and herbs.
The space

This is a newly finished house that has a modern finish and appreciates the surrounding environment. The house has a mature garden and trees that attracts many different kinds of birds and provide shade from the hot sun the region experiences. The high ceiling and roof also helps to keep the temperatures low and the large windows improve air circulation all through the day.
The house is ideal, for both short term stay and long term stay. It is also ideal for both large and small families. There are 2 fully reclining sofa beds that can be used to compliment the two beds in each room for large families.

ATTRACTIONS
Kisumu City is a quiet port town on the shores of Lake Victoria with wide streets and fine colonial architecture. Kisumu was awarded City Status in 2001 and has since grown into an attractive urban centre, with an excellent museum, one of Kenya’s largest open markets and excellent facilities for visitors. Key attractions include Kisumu museum, Dunga Beach and Wetlands, Kisumu Impala Sanctuary, Hippo Point, Kit Mikayi, Nyanza Golf Club and nature walks. the City can be accessed by air through the Kisumu Int. Airport, road, rail and water.

Guests can access the garden and barbecue area on prior notice if they want to entertain a maximum of 10-15 guests

Other things to note
Kisumu is generally a safe place though normal security measures should be taken. The house has a working alarm system and security services are provided for in the property.
