Perfect Holiday House

The hosts were very welcoming and the place was absolutely amazing. This beautiful house is located in front of the beach and the view is breathtaking. It has everything you need for an amazing holiday from amenities to activities and the house was very clean too.

Very well presented absolute beach frontage property in a great location. The property is truly as detailed online with very helpful owners. This recent stay was our third and we will return.

Wonderful family beach stay

Another lovely stay at Splendour. Always clean with very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of board games and games room too for when we weren't at the beach. Conveniently close to shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend for family or friends get togethers.

Excellent - exceeded all expectations!

We loved our stay here! Daryl and Jeanette provided excellent communication and were very helpful in providing a recommendation for our family’s milestone celebration. The house is perfect - so clean, perfect location across the road from the beach, amazing sunsets, coffee shop a few meters down the road. Well stocked with every amenity you can think of, including beach toys, beach cabana, beach towels, scooters for the kids. The little extras were so thoughtful, including a small birthday cake, cheese platter and bottle of wine for our family to enjoy upon arrival. This has by far been the best house we have ever stayed at, and we hope to visit again on our future travels.

The best view

This was our 3rd stay at Splendor on the Esplanade and we had a fabulous time. Extremely clean and everything we could want for. The views are the best with the beach across the road. Will be back for New Years Eve!!!

Fantastic! Great location on the esplanade, very clean and tidy house with great views from the family room and balcony . Family Christmas Holiday

Our family of 8 adults stayed in this fantastic property directly opposite the amazing Christies Beach a 5 minute walk to cafe and a 10 minute walk to main shopping area.The property was extremely clean and welcoming with plenty of space for 4 adult couples .A short drive to Glenelg and Marion shopping centre some excellent fishing spots if thats what you like amazing coastal walks and just 5km from Port Noarlunga.We highly recommend this property for families small or large you will not be disappointed and the host are fantastic to deal with cant wait for our next stay.

Beach side "Chill out"

The property was as advertised - great position overlooking Christies Beach with wonderful, constantly changing ocean front views. Well equipped property with responsive owners. Just what we were looking for to enjoy a seaside break. Can recommend.

Family getaway

This was our second time staying at the Splendor. Again it was PERFECT for our needs. This time I had my 2 yr grandson with us and even he loved being on the balcony watching the beach, the people and dogs :) The cart supplied made carrying everything to the beach easy. As it was hot,the air conditioner worked wonderfully and the shades on the balcony blocked out the sun without blocking out our view We will definitely stay again and kids have already sorted out who gets which room next time A perfect holiday home and location

Girl's Retreat

This is an amazing house....with four bedrooms & three bathrooms there was no waiting for the shower when 5 women need to get ready :) Beautiful outlook from the living room, watching the waves roll in and the beautiful sunsets every night. The lounge room was the perfect place to do yoga and stretch & mediation with the sounds of the ocean right there! The house beautifully decorated, light, bright and roomy and a wonderful big kitchen! You have the best of both worlds, close to McLaren Vale Wineries & the Ocean. Darryl & Jeanette wonderful Hosts and great to communicate with :)

Our family get together in Adelaide

Our family came from Canberra and Woolongong to meet up with our son and his family who live at Christie’s beach. We had a fantastic stay in Jeanette and Daryl’s house. Having three bathrooms and an extra toilet was so handy with small children going to the beach often. The house was very clean and we felt welcomed with a lovely message and wine and pickies in the fridge. The closeness to the beach was amazing and the sunset stunning. We were able to seat 12 for lunch one day which was handy. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much Jeanette and Daryl. Maureen McClean.

Just fabulous!

This property is absolute beach front. Our group (of two families) enjoyed our time on the balcony watching the glorious sunsets. We managed to see dolphins playing right outside most morning and afternoons, which was pretty special. We loved the location. Stroll along the beach or pathways to a selection of shops. Just a short drive to Port Norlunga, where there was an amazing bakery and great selection of shops. Easy 30min drive from the city. Property is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything. The teens in our group loved playing table tennis and pool in the games room, which gave the adults time to chill in the main house. The hosts really went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We needed to drop our things off early to store our caravan at another location, and even though we couldn't check in, the hosts made arrangements for us to leave them at the house. We loved this property and hope to visit again.
