I can't wish for a perfect property to stay - ocean view, walking distance to the beach, multiple pools to enjoy. etc. - you really don't need to leave the vicinity as they almost have it all. Will definitely return to this one!
I would make sure you google the Marriott ko olina time shares because those photos are representative of the way your actual room will look like. This original listing had a photo of a modern kitchen with a large island which is not the case in any of the time share units so not sure where that kitchen photo came from.
My wife, my 4 kids (ages 20, 18, 15 and 12) and I stayed in the two bedroom unit. Plenty of room, with two beds and two pull-out couches in the unit. It was nice to have the full kitchen. We had easy access to the pool and beach. The lagoon was nice for relaxing swims (careful of sea urchins). The water was not ideal for snorkeling visibility, but would be fun and easy play time for smaller children. The beach was nice. We weren’t far from surfing (15 minute drive). Shopping was also 10-15 minutes away. Parking is a little tight fit out rental minivan in some of the stalls. My older boots liked the workout facilities. The pools were also pleasant. There is a water slide that is fun. It’s not very long, but it’s fast.
Overall, would definitely consider staying here again
My wife and I have two boys (9 and 7) and and a 7 month old baby daughter. We found the unit very spacious, clean and well appointed to suit our family's needs. We had a wonderful family holiday and would definitely consider coming back again in the future.
