This adorable cabin is located on the creek at the south end of Sawtooth Valley between Stanley and Sun Valley. Enjoy this rare property within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, often compared to the Tetons "without all the crowds."

There is a king bed in one room and a bunk bed set in the other, sofa sleeper in the living room. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, a large living room area and a great covered porch facing the creek.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and continently located within 30-45 mins of all the hiking/lakes/exploring that we had planned. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time exploring the Sawtooth Wilderness. If we ever return to the area, we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice cabin in a great region of Idaho! Rustic but very nicely furnished and outfitted, alongside babbling Smiley Creek. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and in a quiet neighborhood. Situated between Ketchum and Stanley, Idaho, with unlimited things to do.

Amazing views and amazing cabin

This place was a dream. Wish we would have stayed more than our 3 days. In the valley with mountains all around. Just a beautiful setting. Loved sitting by the gurgling creek and relaxing/reading. Also enjoyed watching the sheep graze (and fight) on the other side of the creek. Nice hikes close to the place. Cabin is beautiful and well-stocked with everything.

Have stayed at Abe's Chair Cabin three times now...kitchen is well stocked, cabin is comfy and clean. Emily is very attentive to all your questions and needs. Smiley Creek is warm and friendly. If you are looking for a quiet serene getaway this is the place!.

Beautiful Sawtooth mountains

Great little cabin that we happened to stay in 7 years ago. The kitchen is well stocked, the DVD library and the games cabinet too (there is something for everyone). It worked well for our teenage boys and us parents. The little creek in the backyard is an added treat. The dirt roads offered great bike rides right from the house. The restaurant at Smiley Creek is in walking distance but far enough to not hear any noise. And there is so much to do in the valley with the many lakes and mountain trails. We’ll come again.
