There's something truly special about being just steps from the sand in Flagler Beach! Quarter Deck Cottage is a charming Old Florida beach cottage, complete with a little personality and some unique quirks! We're glad you were able to appreciate its charm! We completely understand wanting to fall asleep listening to the ocean waves, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the window screens. The cottage does have a portable air conditioning unit, and while these units naturally make some noise while operating, we'll certainly look into the scratching sound you mentioned. We're especially happy that you felt the cottage offered great value, along with its beautiful views and wonderful location. Thank you for staying with us again! We truly appreciate our returning guests and are glad you continue to enjoy the wonderful location of Quarter Deck Cottage and being just steps from the beach. As you know from your stays with us, Quarter Deck is one of our older, quirky beach cottages with a unique layout and separate access between the sleeping area and kitchen/living space. It's part of the cottage's original design and Old Florida character, and unfortunately the structure isn't something that can simply be reconfigured by removing a wall. We do appreciate your feedback regarding the shower pressure and room temperature and will make sure both are checked.
