Villa DIO is located on the highest spot of the island, on the edge of the cliff of the world-famous Caldera. Unique to Santorini are also the cave-like dwellings dug out of the rock face along the high cliffs of the island, called cave houses or ‘Iposkafo’ in Greek. The villa provides an endless view of the Aegean Sea and to the volcano.
The simple white walls combined with the minimal design of the villa and the colorful sunset view complete the perfect picture and indulge all your senses. The villa consists of three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and accommodate up to six (6) persons (can accommodate extra person in roll away bed upon request with extra charge). Each of the villa’s three bedrooms has a king bed, en suite bathroom, TV and air conditioning. They have direct access to the patio with an endless sea view, offering unique moments of relaxation. The comfy living room of the villa filled with elegant furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen ideal for preparing special dishes. The perfect combination of style, incredible views and prime location of the villa offers the guests one of the most unique experiences in the island. The outdoor patio of the villa consists of a luxuriously living space of 150sqm, with six sun beds and a dining area, where our guests can relax and enjoy the unique sunset, the compelling volcano and the incredible sea view. The outdoor living space is large enough to host a wedding or other special occasion, as it combines great size and capacity, offering stunning views of the villa.

Simply amazing

What a view ! We spent an amazing time at the villa… which was very clean and gorgeous. Spending relaxing time in the infinity pool overlooking the sea. Steps away from restaurants, quiet, not to close to the busy streets. Staff were oustanding ! Would go back anytime

Breathtakingly gorgeous

We decided as a group that this was our favorite VRBO! It will exceed all of your expectations. It has beyond breathtaking views. The home is gorgeous. You are pampered daily with a private chef to make breakfast and maid service. We loved the outdoor space. It is the perfect place to hang out as a family. The views are stunning. The location was perfect. You have lots of privacy because you don’t walking paths right next to your outdoor space. Yanni was the perfect host. He arranged a delicious private dinner for us, gave recommendations for activities, restaurants and transportation. I didn’t expect a concierge level of hosting but that’s what he provided. Anyone who wants an exceptional place in Santorini will love this home.

Our stay at Villa Dio

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Villa Dio and would highly recommend it to others. Yani, the Manager for the property, was extremely helpful with coordination before our stay, including organizing the taxi transfer from the port to the Villa. He met us personally at the top and had our luggage brought down by one of the bell boys. At the villa, he spent the time required to advise us of all the things that would be relevant for us and was extremely helpful in organizing our activities, including renting a car for the day as well as potentially organizing a guide at Akrotiri. As far as the villa is concerned, its location is fantastic with unobtrusive views of the caldera, the living space as well as the bedrooms are gracious. It is in immaculate condition and there was daily cleaning service. In terms of Firostefani, we couldn't have asked for a better location. For our first two visits to Santorini, we had stayed in a hotel in Oia. However, the towns of Oia and Thera have unfortunately been over-run by significant crowds, including the daily ones from the cruise ships who descend on the two largest towns. Firostefani is quiet and peaceful from that perspective, yet there are restaurants and convenience stores which provide for all of one's basic needs. So, all in all, we couldn't have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property. The only thing that we would have loved to have had in a property of this quality is a plunge pool, as it gets really hot in Santorini at this time of the year. I am told that this may be in the offering in the future.
