Spacious Lake Village Townhouse ~ Sleeps max 8 guests ~ Minutes From Heavenly
Our 3-story townhouse is located at the quiet scenic Lake Village Community right off Hwy 50 (Lake Tahoe Blvd.) The studio unit on the first floor with its own entrance is reserved for the owners' personal use, and a separate stairway leads to the main house. Our house is spacious, nicely decorated, has high ceilings and is fully furnished.
All bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry area are located on the 2nd floor, and living, dining and kitchen with adjacent family room are located on the 3rd floor. Cable TV, high speed WiFi and domestic phone service are complimentary. Our house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Max allowed nighttime occupancy is 8 guests (absolutely no exceptions). Daytime occupancy is up to 16 guests.
Master bedroom has a Cal King bedroom set, walk in closet, flat screen smart 42” HD TV and a bathroom with his and hers dual sinks. There is plenty of room for “Pack ‘n Play” should you decide to bring your little one. Pack 'n Play with mattress and changing pad are provided upon request.
Guest Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen-size beds. Guest bedroom 2 also has a 40" Roku TV.
Dining Room table can comfortably accommodate all guests, and kitchen breakfast island counter can sit up to 4 guests. High chair and booster are provided upon request.
Kitchen is fully equipped with all necessities such as large and small modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Kitchen is also equipped with silverware, pots, pans, spices, oil, etc. - everything you need to make your perfect dish. Kitchen and dining areas have ceiling fans.
Living Room has a queen-size couch, queen-size sofa bed and a flat screen smart 55” HD TV. ***Please note that the FIREPLACE IS FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY.***
Our guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, BBQ grills (reservation is required) and a game of pool or ping pong at the club house. There is also a playground for the little ones. Recreation area use is limited to six (8) guests. Swimming pool is open every day 10am to 8 pm, mid-May through mid-October, weather permitting. Hot tub and sauna are open 10am to 8 pm year-around. Office hours are also from 10am until 8pm year-around.
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles only - 1 assigned space and 1 unassigned first come/first serve space at the same parking lot - guests will need to display a Douglas County parking permit and a Lake Village parking permit on the vehicle's dashboard - detailed instructions on how to obtain both will be provided before check in.
Smoking is not permitted on, in or around our property/premise and strictly enforced. Fines will be imposed by HOA, Tahoe Fire, and/or owner and will result in a loss of deposit.
Minimum age to rent is 25 years, and a copy of the Driver's License is to be provided to the owner once the reservation is accepted.
Check-in time is 4:00PM local time
Check-out time is at 11:00AM local time unless agreed upon otherwise prior to arrival
We have quiet hours between 9pm and 8am which are strictly enforced by the Douglas County - there are no exceptions to this rule. Fines will be imposed for any violations directly to the traveling guest. We are a safe, private, residential community with no tolerance for breaking our rules. Please be kind and mindful to the neighbors and community that surround you.
NO PARTIES, EVENTS, RECEPTIONS, WEDDINGS, BACHELORETTE OR BACHELOR, BIRTHDAY PARTIES OR ANY EVENT THAT COULD BE CONSTRUED AS PARTYING TYPE EVENT. Gatherings and events that exceed the maximum occupancy of the vacation home rental are prohibited.
All trash must be bagged and placed in bear safe can located just outside of home
Guests must adhere to all departure instructions and rules sent via email to you.
Please, clean up and leave our space tidy when you depart and please double check departure instructions. Thank you!
No boats, trailers, commercial vehicles, RVs, or vehicles over 21’ in length are permitted in Lake Village. No sledding, tubing, saucers, skiing, skateboarding or electric scooters are permitted within the Village.

We are two busy professionals with 2 wonderful kids who enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming, etc. We both grew up in large metropolitan cities and always wanted to have a peaceful and quiet retreat in the mountains not too far from the lovely Bay Area! We bought our spacious 3BR/2BA house (we love the high ceiling!) and renovated/furnished it for ourselves so that we could invite our immediate family and friends to join us for family vacations or weekend getaways. We look forward to enjoying Lake Tahoe, creating great memories in "our home away from home" and most importantly seeing our kids enjoying the slopes and playing on the beach!
Why they chose this property
We wanted to find a house in the Sierra Nevada mountains away from the busy streets of San Francisco. We looked at a number of properties and fell in love with the Lake Village community. We liked the location as it is close to Hwy 50 (only short 3.5 hours away from our home in the Bay Area); yet, it is only a few minutes away from the lake, Heavenly Ski Resort, Casinos, etc. We also liked that it is a townhouse community because we felt it would be safe and very well taken care of.
What makes this property unique
Having the community center is a big plus because we can use the pool, hot tub, BBQ, tennis courts and a club room. There is also a playground for the little ones. There is a number of hiking trails nearby. Safeway and Starbucks are within a walking distance.
