ABOUT CALDERWOOD HOMESTEAD
“Calderwood Homestead” , set on 360 acres in the NSW Northern Highlands is located near the famous Tooloom gold fields of the 1800’s and is a two & a half hour drive from Brisbane. The historical property has the famous “Tooloom Hotel” circa 1894 as its main homestead which has been brought back to life by the present owners. The entire property sleeps 12 people across the homestead and the out buildings . The homestead is the finest example of a renovated red cedar home in NSW of which there are just eight left Australia wide. Other features include the original sandstone chimney, wide verandas, separate guest quarters which were the original kitchen and butcher shop, fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit. This house is perfect for a corporate retreat, a celebration or simply a country weekend away with family or friends.
