Within a one minute stroll through the foreshore reserve from the white sandy beach, Bulwer Beach House is located on a large front property and is ideal for a large group or several families. This is a renovated fully equipped typical beach house set in a large garden with ample room for children to play. The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom inside and a private garden shower with hot and cold water outside. There is a covered patio at the front with an outside 2nd kitchen, bbq area and a large Smart TV, all under cover. In the front garden there is a small fireplace, to relax after days exploring, surfing and fishing around the Island. A great Beach House for a great holiday.

Our stay here was great. Disappointing that the gas bottles for the bbq were empty, but everything else was great. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home in bulwer

This property was perfect for our week stay with family and friends. The outdoor area is amazing, the bbq was was great to cook all our meals and outdoor bathroom was great. We pretty much lived in the outdoor area, such a nice space to hang out and the firepit was so good at night time. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to Don for hosting us!

Great Location

Had everything we needed for our stay. Property manager was helpful and easy to deal with. Great location, easy parking, bed layout was slightly different than what is listed but we made it work.

Complaint currently in place with Stayz.First two mornings of our stay, there was no power for 6 hours. As a direct consequence, the property had:•No running water•No flushing toilets•No refrigeration•No fans during extreme heatInitial attempts to contact the manager were ignored. Later observed attending to the generator and leaving without any communication. In subsequent communications with the manager when trying to resolve power issues, I was spoken to in an aggressive, accusatory, and dismissive manner.Only 1 x 330L fridge supplied. No wifi as advertised.The external toilet was blocked with what appeared to be weeks’ worth of faeces. The odor was overwhelming, wafting into living areas. As no plunger was available, the toilet required manual evacuation by hand, and when flushed, effluent bubbled up through the floorboards. Lawn unkept (knee height), toilet paper blocking hole in roof. Exceptionally disappointed. Managers behavior ruined our holiday. Advise not to book until some general maintenance has been attended to!

Family getaway

Our family getaway was awesome. The Barefoot Beach house is a cute little house in a fantastic location and walking distance to beach, shop and Bulwer wrecks. We will definitely book here again. Thank you Don for making everything easy and smooth.

Easy Living Beach Vibe

This property was just as we expected. The only thing it is missing is water views, but the water is CLOSE. Setup perfectly for Island Living. We lived and cooked outside and slept inside. Management was great, the house was clean and really well equipped.

4 bedroom house with a big living room, outdoor kitchen / bar and TV. Big Safe Grass area with a firepit... quick little walk over a sand dune to a pristine clear and safe beach for a swim and fish. This was a perfect holiday location for our two families with 3 kids under 5.Thank you

Lovely location

Lovely location, short walk to the beach if you don’t fancy driving. Early checkin and late check out was offered and appreciated. House is nice yet mould in king room. Outside bathroom has no sink and floor planks starting to rot. Listing advertised internet but not at the property. Property runs off bore water but not advertised until you get welcome pack the day before.

Cute little beach house

We rented this property for a 10 day family holiday. It was in a great location, had a great outdoor area, good cooking facilities and a nice bathroom. The house has a few little quirks but I believe it is in the process of a few upgrades so I assume is only set to get better. The host, Don, was really easy to deal with and nothing was too much of a problem. Only downside for us - no laundry facilities. This made it hard for a 10 day trip with 3 little kids. We would stay here again.

We are working on the outside kitchen at the moment and the little twin tub washing machine will be replaced with a proper 7kg washing machine before this summer season. 2nd time there

This was our 2nd time we stayed at this place , this time around we found the same things broken and not fixed from 12 months ago , The lights and fans were not working and needed reprogramming , on contacting the agent he said he didn't know how to fix it , so we managed to google and reprogram all the fans and lights so they worked , The fly screen were still ripped from last time and we ran out of water on the last day. Great place but I think if you take peoples money then keep up with the maintenance issues.

Great Location

We absolutely loved staying at the beach house. Had the best location, we could walk to Bulwer Beach wrecks within minutes. The outdoor area (where we lived the whole time) was absolutely awesome. The rooms great, loved the modern bathroom & toilet. Loved the outside shower & toilet experience. A couple of complaints that need to be rectified is one of the rooms lights didn’t work & doesn’t have a ceiling fan. The pedestal fan isn’t great. Then the ceiling fan in the other Queen bedroom was unable to be turned on & because the light is in the fan we couldn’t see or had no fan on the hot nights. We were told a fan would be dropped at the property but that didn’t happen. But other than that our stay was great and would stay again.
