Stroll to everything in Cotton Tree – Beach, River, Restaurants, Boutiques, Take away, Doctor, Chemist, Bottle shop, Butcher, Food store, library and Surf Club, Bowls Club – everything you will need while on holidays. Visit trendy Ocean Street or shop at the Plaza – with over 200 specialty shops, cinemas and restaurants.

There’s plenty to see and do on the Sunshine Coast. Take a day trip to Fraser Island or visit some of our local attractions such as Australia Zoo, Sea Life Mooloolaba, Aussie World, the Ginger Factory, Bli Bli or Coolum Aqua park, Strike and Holy Moly Maroochydore, Noosa National Park, Buderim Waterfall, The Big Pineapple, Maleny Bird Sanctuary, Bellingham Maze and the Maroochydore Botanical Gardens.

As far as markets go there are plenty on, on the Sunshine Coast. Local markets are held every Sunday at Fisherman’s Road and Cotton Tree and the famous Eumundi markets on Saturdays and Wednesdays. There is also a Kawana farmers market held on Saturdays and Caloundra twilight markets held on Friday evenings.

Sunshine Coast airport is about a 15 minute drive and Brisbane airport approximately an hour away. There are regular bus services to both airports.

- As our apartments are not serviced we recommend you bring some essentials including: toilet paper, soap, washing powder, salt/pepper, tea and coffee.

Unit was clean and neat and tidy. Main bedroom needed a bed lamp beside the bed. Power point was on opposite wall to the bed head. Could do with a small light in the hallway. Otherwise was very comfortable.

Great location, disappointing unit.

The unit was not clean, the windows, blinds and screens may not have been cleaned for years if ever and there was an accumulation of dust and grease in the crevices of the exposed brick interior walls, particularly above the cooking area. The advertised “fully equipped” kitchen was a joke. The stove had four solid hot plates which were badly rusted and the largest one failed to heat completely. The oven appeared to have suffered some major cooking catastrophes and was useable only for heating precooked food. The cooking equipment supplied consisted of: 2 frying pans, the largest with a badly buckled base, two badly discoloured oven trays which had burnt on remains, a banquet size electric frypan - way too large for cooking for two, two saucepans one of which had the remains of some nonstick coating (the rest having been scrapped off) and a very large boiler. The motley collection of crockery and cutlery wasn’t up to Op Shop standards and the carving, bread and other utility knives were hopelessly blunt. The fridge was good. The washing machine and dryer were good. The beds were unbelievably bad. Old mattresses which had lost all top padding leaving the springs barely covered by thin cotton. I doubt if this unit would have been passed as fit for habitation by the local Council health inspector. If we had not been forced to pay for our stay in advance we would not have stayed at all.
