Very good

Location was very good, access to various restaurants and shopping centres. Close to several beaches, with public transport at the door to venture further afield to Glasshouse Mountains.
This is a fantastic unit, very comfortable and everything you need even with a private veranda. Great position to the restaurants & cafes & town! The unit could of been cleaner though. We definitely would stay here again!
Good communications with the agents. Helpful when we made enquiries re extending the dates that we requested. Would book again if we get to come back over to Brisbane.
Only criticism, the fact you are unable to leave the keys closer to the unit, especially when relying on public transport.

Thank you for your review Margaret, we are working on getting a lock box for after hours check ins at our office. Otherwise all other check ins Monday-Friday can be collected from our office as normal :)
PROS: close to Bus Stop, cafes, beach, public pool, public library and park. CONS: No balcony (it states in the listing that there is a balcony), door opens onto public pool patio with pool loungers and tables facing into your window and door, pool users/diners looking directly into your door and window. Zero privacy: Pool users and diners wandering onto patio at all hours. Surly handyman every day entering private patio door/window area sweeping and hosing.Glass bricks in bathroom directly outside next door's front door, can see straight into bathroom from their door.No oven in kitchen. No security: side doors and front door in foyer unlocked during the day and weekends, anyone could wander in off the street and use the liftNoisy: there is a cafe directly under the unit, noise from 6am, table and chair set up every morning makes a lot of noise and continual chatter/clatter all dayOn balance, the cons outweigh the pros

Thank you for your feedback Jan. Glad to hear you enjoyed the proximity of the apartment to the shops, cafes, beaches and so on!
In regards to the balcony, the unit has a poolside terrace where you can walk out your balcony doors and around the corner is the pool. The only table out the front of your balcony doors is the one for that unit which is for your use.
We have never had anyone mention pool users and the handyman entering the private terrace area before so we will definitely take this feedback on board and see if there is anything we can do about this.
The glass bricks in the bathroom are obscure glass meaning you can't see through them. They allow light through and are often used for privacy purposes.
This is a managed building so the door to the building is often left open during the day when the onsite managers are around the building or onsite and then locked at night time so the building is secure. You can also try locking your front door for extra security.
Clean and position is good, Close to R.S.L. and very good eating Coffee shops etc. close to surf & calm water, shops etc. The unit is on the 1st floor there is not a water view and the balcony is enclosed as the pool is on this floor, still an outdoor area with table and chairs. I missed the oven, only a microwave oven.
Have stayed at the facility several times but this is the first Stayz experience at the property. Comfort and location, security convenience was equal. Just lacked the personal touch.
Great Location, but bathroom had see through glass, people could see in
Glass bricks in bathroom wall were see through, people walking past outside could see you in the shower even with the light off, shower was stained and had hair on the tiles, it hadn't been cleaned, was told to bring sheets, which was fine but bath towels were not supplied, glass top on coffee table and bedside tables were very dangerous, they were not fixed, they were sliding off, the pool area was right outside our balcony door, there were other guests sunbaking right outside our door, no privacy on our balcony, we were not told this when booked, will not be staying here again

Hi Karen, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry you didn't enjoy some aspects of your stay. The glass block windows in the unit have a thick, cloudy, and slightly reflective look that is difficult to see through so there should not have been any issues with privacy. These blocks are in the bathroom of every unit in the complex.
In regards to the cleaning of the shower we have brought this to the cleaners attention and apologise that it was not clean.
The pool is located on the same level as this unit and there are deck chairs that other guest can bring around in front of the unit and lay on. Unfortunately this is out of our control.
We will have the bedside tables attended to, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
In future, if you do have any issues with your stay please always call our office and we will do our best to rectify any issues. We always want our guests to enjoy their stay! :)
Kind regards,
Norm Martin Real Estate Holiday Team
Excellent unit for 1 or 2 people. Everything you could possibly need, but needs the fan and light to be connected in the bedroom. The pool was almost at the front door and beautifully clean. Close to amazing food and the beach. 10 out of 10.

Hi Michelle,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review! We will have a look into the fan/light situation in the bedroom and get this attended to. We hope to see you in Cotton Tree again some time soon!
Kind regards,
Norm Martin Real Estate Property Management
The unit was well equipped, with air conditioner, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. But no oven. The bed was firm but comfy. The shower was awesome. The unit opened onto the pool deck, with loungers just outside of the doors for all of the buildings guests to use. This afforded less privacy. We would definitely stay here again.
Norm Martin Real Estate where extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you ladies.
