The custom modern design by the owner of Watershed himself and the construction with repurposement and other environmentally-friendly methods as a focus make this home special. This 'mountain-modern' cabin with its chic industrial loft elements styled with a mountain flair sits perfectly on a private lot with a long-range, sunset view of Sassafras Gap. The design details need to be witnessed, but the features like home theater, indoor and outdoor rain showers, master jetted tub, and of course floor to ceiling windows, make this one of our premiere cabins, if you dare use that term for it. And for 2020, we have added a wet/dry sauna as an amenity! Also, it is located on our 50-acre tract we call the Watershed Resort.

kitchen

Your kitchen is appointed with granite counter tops and all new stainless appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included).

great room

The great room features a living and dining area with table suitable for seating 6. The decor features leather sofa, bamboo floors, gas-log fireplace and loft-industrial interiors with a minimalist theme. There is HD TV with Blu-Ray DVD player. There's a wraparound covered deck that features a relaxing bedswing that may just trump the indoor space for your time.

garage

The garage is for use only by the cabin owner and not available for use by tenants.

sleeping accommodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens. Designer-luxury towels are provided for the base number of occupancy with additional stock towels for hot tub use.

ground floor

The king master bedroom is enormous and features 2 captain's chairs, a modern LED fireplace and 50" TV. Large windows and doors provide an open feel to the outside firepit and hot tub, but total blackout can be achieved with the wall to wall drapes. A huge master bath is adjacent, with its 2 person jetted tub and open rain-shower area plus double sinks. Large washer/dryer is on this level.

upstairs

The home theater room can be converted to the second bedroom. 2 futon-sofa units fold flat and can be topped with our 2" foam mattress topper and mattress pad to make a king bed. Full bed linens including light-down comforter and pillows are provided. This bedroom uses the main shared bathroom, with its built-in slate tile shower among the log structure of the home.

EV Charging - the home is equipped with a 240V outlet ready for a charging station. If you desire EV charging, please notify the Watershed Cabins office in advance and we will set up a Emporia Level 2, 48 amp EV Charger for use during your stay.
