Thanks for your feedback! I understand this review stems from being asked not to smoke in the unit.
We do make it very clear that all our units are non-smoking, mainly so everyone in the building can breathe easy and enjoy their stay.
We understand that might not be everyone’s idea of the perfect holiday vibe, but rules are there for a reason. Hopefully next time you’ll find a spot that’s a better fit for your lifestyle choices!
As for the “nursing home” comment, this block is anything but. It’s a relaxed, beachside community with a great group of residents who take pride in where they live. Being asked to follow a simple rule doesn’t make the place dull, and it certainly doesn’t warrant putting down the complex or its lovely residents. Cheers!
Nice apartment very close to beach and surf club and some great restaurants. Older style but suited us with a kid and lots of sand. Will book again for sure
Beautifully located! really close to beach! Real estate was lovely to deal with. Just the previous occupants were a bit casual with washing dishes but apart from that it was a great experience and the flat suited us very well.

Hi Marcela, thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure having you stay!
We have let the cleaners know about the dishes and apologise about this.
No internet at all. No linen means no towels, sheets, pillowcases, floor mats, hand towels or face washers. You will also need extra tea towels if one is not enough. You will also need dish cloths. If you need to store leftovers, you will need your own Tupperware. Kitchen has the very basics. No extras. Location is awesome.

Thank you for your review Anthea. Everything you have mentioned is noted in the ad - no Wi-Fi, linen not included, however guests can bring their own or hire it and we also recommend to bring some essentials (soaps, washing powder, toilet paper etc) as apartments are not serviced. We note this so guests are aware before their stay! :)
We hope to see you again though!
What a view! The uniit is on the old side. I stayed by myself and ran out of hot water every time which is a problem if you are a party of 6. The trundle bed in the second bedroom is not functional. The lights in n the second bedroom need bulbs. The crockery was filthy. No dishcloth. But you couldn't fault the location.
This place was so brilliant. Directly across from the beach, listening to the surf at night, waking up to walk over to get a coffee, dinners at the surf club, walking trails, a park close by. It is an older unit but it is neat, tidy, clean and has everything you would need to stay!

not impressed
The beds appeared to be new - very comfortable. the view and the beach is primarily why we picked this place as its a short walk to amenities. It appears that previous guests left some things like tea and sugar and some other things in the pantry (as they said this wasn't a 'serviced apartment'). The Aircon worked well. The free Sunshine Coast Wi-Fi worked well in the living room.
It is run by an agent, not the owner, hence appears to have less care taken. Not a serviced apt so no extras provided. We didn't get the 'linen pack', as I presumed it was just bedding (the add doesn't say what was included). Therefore, we didn't have bathmats, hand towels nor tea towels (so pays to ask questions before coming). There was toilet paper, but no hand soap, which I thought would be obligatory. They did have a tiny packet of dish soap (good if staying one night). The bedroom light (and one light in the kitchen) was not working (finding out only after it got dark) and took two days to get an electrician out to fix it. Some of the dishes were dirty as the previous tenants were supposed to 'leave it as you found it'. However, they did get a cleaner back in to clean them. There is no bathroom door, however there is a door for the toilet within the bathroom, and a compartment door for the shower (which is unusual). If you don't like parking in tight spaces you may need to park on the street, as the garage is a bit tricky to get into.
