AGE RESTRICTION : Sandpiper Beach Resort requires that one of all the guests be a minimum of 25 years of age.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, PILLOWS AND LINENS FOR DOUBLE BEDS EXCEPT IF YOUR STAYING IN COTTAGE 12 THERE IS ONE QUEEN SIZE BED. YOU MUST BRING TOWELS AND TOILETRIES (including toilet paper, and soaps/shampoo and cleaning supplies) AS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Each mattress is covered with a freshly washed cover, protector and must not be removed.

KITCHENS: OUR KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH POTS AND PANS, DISHES, GLASSES, MUGS, CUTLERY AND SOME COOKING AND SERVING UTENSILS. THERE IS A STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, TOASTER, KETTLE AND COFFEE MAKER. EACH COTTAGE HAS THEIR OWN BARBECUE WITH PROPANE TANK AND A PICNIC TABLE.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off any fans and air conditioner. Shut and lock all windows. Return Parking Pass and keys into the bag on the wall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All rules and regulations must be followed as stated on our website and rental agreement to guarantee return of security deposit.
MUST FOLLOW ALL THE WASAGA BEACH BY-LAWS. ESPECIALLY THE NOISE RESTRICTION RULE -quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am.
All guests MUST conduct themselves at all times in a manner respectful and NOT offensive to the neighbours.

The cottage is very well located, right on the beach. Well-maintained and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and the living room spacious. We were four adults and three children, and each had their own space. The BBQ worked well.The only downside: a key in an outdoor lockbox with a code would have been more convenient than sharing a single key.A wonderful stay!

Great Spot!

We are return guests of Sandpiper! It’s such a great spot! Even though there’s several cottages in the area, you can’t really hear any other groups. The cottages are exactly what you need. Bedrooms, bathroom, a place to cook food, and a seating area outside. Check in is very easy, parking is a bit limited. Will definitely be returning :-)

Location, location, location...

If you are looking for a prime spot with a quiet section of the beach this is it. I requested an early check-in and the owner responded quickly and was kind enough to accomodate the request. Overall, the cottage is good. You can see that it was renovated recently. Unfortunately, we had to clean the bathroom at arrival. Might have been a miss as the rest of the cottage was clean. My biggest complaint is specific to cottage 12. There are a lot of junk (old windows, old BBQs etc.) on both sides of the cottage which make the overall environment not ideal. Other than that specific point, not bad. But again, location is great!

Great location

We had a great time celebrating a friend’s upcoming wedding with her bachelorette party here. The beach is so close and we were able to walk 15 minutes to nearby bars and activities. We found the cottage to be very dirty with a mouldy shower curtain, sand everywhere, etc. The deck on the back needs to be fixed as there is a huge nail sticking out as well. Overall we had a good stay but it had the potential to be great with just a few fixes by property owners!!

Very Fun Place to Stay!

You can't beat the location! Right on a very nice clean beach, not over crowded and steps from your door, and only a 10-15 minute walk from the fun boardwalk. The only downfall (which we knew before booking) was that you do have to bring a lot of your own things that the cottage does not have. However, we would definitely stay here again. Susan was very easy to get ahold of and answered all of my questions quickly. Great vacation spot.

Rented two cottages for a family reunion and we had a good time. The house was nice with the only comment being the screened door came off the hinges the very first time we opened it (we advised the gentleman who worked the grounds). Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the house was nice.

We stayed here in family day holiday. The cottage was super clean and Susan was answering her texts right away ! There were some items missing in the cottage which had nothing to do with Covid though; Like garbage bags, soaps, dishwasher detergent.. my husband had to go out in the snow storm to buy garbage bags at 9 pm Where almost every where is closed! So if you want to book this cottage; here are the items you need to bring : Pillows Blankets Sheets Soaps Towels for bathroom, and kitchen Toilet papers Plastic Garbage bags Recycling bin Salt and pepper Oil for cooking Any sort of napkins, bounties. Etc Ps.the location is great for the summer..

Our cottages are cleaned thoroughly and inspected prior to your arrival. And it was very clean. You are writing a bad review because you did not bring what you were supposed to bring for your stay. It states on our website what you must bring and we sent out a important email for your stay prior to your stay. You obviously did not read this important email. Our guests have no problems with our rules and policies.

Location was good but missing

We tried contacting the manager prior to our arrival to inquire about BBQ grill several times but they never responded. When we got there we found out that property has no TV and also BBQ wasn't working. Check in was contact less and easy. Property was clean. Location is great - just steps away from the beach.

Also regarding your barbecue not working. It was working. We had it checked. You never called or texted to have someone come there and get it started for you. We have someone on site who does that and we also have extra barbecues on site and propane tanks to at your disposal. We never received a complaint or call from you regarding this matter.

Great beachfront location

The location was great that it has easy access to the beach. All equipment and appliances available which was nice. The 2 only downsides were that the water was not warm enough for showers and kids had to shower with cold water for 3 days 😔 Also cleaning wise it was ok except that the walls had lots of spiders and spider webs and we had to clean them ourselves for the sake of the kids
