AGE RESTRICTION : Sandpiper Beach Resort requires that one of all the guests be a minimum of 25 years of age.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: *Your personal information - GOVERNMENT PHOTO ID is required upon check-in.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, PILLOWS AND LINENS FOR DOUBLE BEDS. YOU MUST BRING TOWELS AND TOILETRIES (including toilet paper, and soaps/shampoo and cleaning supplies) AS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Each mattress is covered with a freshly washed cover, protector and must not be removed.

KITCHENS: OUR KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH POTS AND PANS, DISHES, GLASSES, MUGS, CUTLERY AND SOME COOKING AND SERVING UTENSILS. THERE IS A STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, TOASTER, KETTLE AND COFFEE MAKER. EACH COTTAGE HAS THEIR OWN BARBECUE WITH PROPANE TANK AND A PICNIC TABLE.

A 4% MUNICIPAL ACCOMMODATION TAX WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGED AS PER THE WASAGA BEACH NEW BY-LAW.

Wonderful cabin

We have stayed here twice now. The cabin has everything you need, close to the beach and all amenities. We will definitely staying again.

I was greeted by very friendly staff. I felt welcome. The location of the resort cannot be beat. The cottage was clean. This property met my needs with regard to the kitchen, living space, bedroom and bathroom. Windows were a slight problem when I wanted fresh air and I felt the bathroom window allowed welcome sun shine into the cottage, but although frosted, required a covering in order to provide privacy. Foam was required on the bed to improve comfort. I would return each year.

Good Cottage

The location of this was amazing! I loved walking out right into the sand and being able to see the water from our cabin. Unfortunately when we got there, the door was locked instead of being open like they said it would be, but they quickly came to assist. The quiet hours were not followed and we had little quiet time during our stay, but I know that was the fault of the neighbours, not the property. Next time we’d like something a little more private for a summer getaway! Other than that, great cottage.

Very nice!

It was a great cottage right on the beach with a lovely deck. We stayed for a week and it was perfect. We had a 2 bedroom and it was perfect I think if there were 4 adults it would be tight. The cabin could use a few updates though. New door handles/locks on the cabin are definitely need as they were very difficult to use, new shower curtain and a curtain on the bathroom window, and a new futon as it was very uncomfortable for sitting. Also the WIFI and TV reception( Rogers) is verrrry spotty. But all in all I would stay again !!!!

Beau Beachfront Cottage

My friend and I loved our stay in cottage 11. It’s small but perfect for two people. We love to cook and we’re able to make epic meals during our stay. It is located right on the beach so it doesn’t really get any better than that. The resort was peaceful when we were there for civic weekend. Very family/kid friendly. I would 100% stay here again. Had to rate it a 4/5 though because the “bed” was like a torture device. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable and I woke up each morning with pain in my neck and back. I read the reviews about the mattress before hand and hoped maybe there would be a new one….do yourself a favour and bring an air mattress with you if you book this cottage. You will regret it if you don’t.

HORRIBLE

Manager was rude and demeaning, no customer satisfaction, refused to work with us when we weren’t happy with the accommodations, large group of young adults partying beside us, it was a nightmare. We left without reimbursement and are currently seeking legal advice.

Please get your story straight before slandering our business with false accusations. We have witnesses to your behaviour and intimidation. You did not like the group next to you for your own personal reasons which we do not discriminate against anyone who books with us. You said the music was loud and we had it shut down immediately. You proceeding to go into another persons cottage without permission. You choose to leave on your own decision. Everyone who books is able to view the property before their stay to make sure it suits their needs. You neglected to do so on your own discretion. We have witnesses to your behaviour and we have not received one complaint against the group you speak of. We are not rude but you cannot just go into another persons cottage and put you personal belongings in there because you don’t like the people next to your cottage.

Love that its right on the beach and a quiet part. That's the best part. Comfortable bed and couch. All you need. Hidden charges made this little cabin very expensive and usually I can use my TD points to cover most of the cost and I wasnt able to use any no matter who I talked to. I have used expedia.ca for years and got to use my points. I was told I wasnt able to because of the way our bill was entered. Talking to Vbro didnt help either. Person on text very helpful and friendly from Sandpiper. Handyman friendly too. It was too bad the music was a little too loud. Wish other cottagers were a little more respectful to others. If we could use our points and get a better price we would come again. Cleaning fee is high since we need to clean up and have our own linen and #11 is very small. If we could solve a few areas we would come back.

Waste of money

I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! On arrival we did not have the correct number of the cottage when I tried to call some one,my calls went unanswered thankfully a kind neighbour helped us out otherwise we would have waited almost 40mins for a reply. On entering the cottage we realised it was ridiculously small there was grime and broken tiles in the shower and cobwebs along the walls of the "living" area. I was also told that a mattress protector would be provided which it was not and neither where any pillows (I was told to bring all bed linen but never mentioned pillows). In the actual bedroom there was carvings all over the wooden walls of what I assume where children who stayed before us informing us of all the sex that was had in this tiny room!! The internet did not work the whole time we were there. We tried to cook but because of the size of the cottage and placement of smoke alarm the alarm went off every time we opened the oven. The location was nice but that was the only good thing about this property it was not worth the money we paid. And also was charged a cleaning fee when we had to clean ourselves when we arrived and before we left.

You are a very dishonest person. I have a copy of all correspondence from you specifying the time when your questions were answered and they were all answered within a reasonable time frame, not the time you have alleged. Also the cottage was very clean as it was inspected prior to your stay. It was ready for your checkin in the morning well before 4 pm checkin. We have not received one complaint about this cottage regarding your allegations. The wifi was working and there were 3 different connections to use. The website and the email sent to you prior to your stay discloses everything you have to bring including pillows. The kitchen appliances are new and in great working order and there is plenty of room to cook. The picture of the cottage and it’s size are on the website from which you booked. There are no surprises. The smoke alarm has been inspected and everything is in working order. Not once during your stay did you send any concerns or complaints or let us know that you were missing a bed cover.

Super location- 15 seconde de la plage

Le cottage 11 est très petit. OK pour 2 adultes et nous avions une petite, mais s'Il avait plu toute la semaine nous aurions senti le manque d'espace. J'ai adoré les lieux, les pieds dans le sable du matin au soir. Pas compliqué. Plage presque privée. Super!! Il manquait un peu d'équipement dans le cottage (limité en verres et ustensiles- pas de planche a découper, ustensils a bbq ni de passoire) J'ai acheté des trucs au Dollartree que j'ai laissé la. Mais malgré tout ca, je recommande à tous. une semaine de vraie pause. Pas de tele ni de stress. C'Était super et je veux y retourner plus longtemps...peut etre la prochaine fois je prendrait le cottage 8;)

I love the simplicity of cottage. There was no frills but had the necessities and located right on the beach. I didn’t realize there was no tv but it wasn’t a huge deal for us. The worst part had to be the bed. It was awful. And considering there isn’t much to the space, at the very least I need comfy sleep. Do yourself a favour and bring and extra mattress pad to sleep on the futon.
