A lovely secluded cottage overlooking the Eastern Shores of PEI, . The cottage has all the amenities available for a relaxing vacation, located in the Points East Coastal Drive, the beautiful ocean vistas and incredible sunsets can be enjoyed on a screened and furnished porch, a great place to enjoy local wine from Rossignal winery or a local brew from the Copper Bottom. Just minutes from a heritage lighthouse and amazing red and white sand beaches within 20 minutes. The City of Charlottetown and all the fun of Cavendish only an hour away.
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. Overall our experience here was good. The cottage was cozy, the yard was spacious and scenic and the hosts were accommodating and helped us when issues arose. The DvD player and movies were a bonus. The only thing we would adjust is having a knife sharpener and have the closet doors adjusted as they seem damaged and difficult to use in the bedroom. Overall a great little getaway!

As the listing says, a really secluded place. Clean. We really didn't have any communication with our host but we didn't need anything. We were provided the code to get in and there was really nothing else needed. We spent one of our days, at the cottage taking in the view of the shore, Cape Bear lighthouse and the seals. This really was our best day on PEI. We did all of our meals at the cottage. It could use a sharp knife and better cutting board for those who will be cooking for themselves. Overall - great experience and we'd recommend to other travelers.

This cottage is definitely secluded and very quiet. We arrived to find the front door unlocked! Everything seemed to be clean and in order however there was wet laundry left in the dryer - which had not been turned on! The complimentary fresh bag of Starbucks ground coffee was so appreciated and well used. We loved waking up to the sound of the seals sun bathing and moaning off the shore! The bed was surprisingly comfortable-yet the pillows could be of better quality. Towels and bedding were good - but well used! Dishes and cutlery and kitchen ware were ample for the two of us. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast and so peaceful. Grocery shop in Charlottetown or Montague before heading to this cottage as there did not seem to be much around for bulk food supplies! If going out at night, be sure to leave a few lights on. The road coming back in is extremely dark at night! We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for two!

Quiet and relaxing. Lots of hares visiting and daily seal wake up calls. Loved the screened in and lit back porch. Was great for sitting out to eat or read into the evening.

Was quite and relaxing but would of loved less wooded and more view of the seaNow I know why they call it the rocky shore would have been nice to be able to walk along the shore Lucky for the screen in porch cause they were lots of mosquitoes but overall nice little cottage and another thing couldn’t figure out the tv Ps loved the flowers

Absolutely Wonderful

If you are looking for privacy and seclusion this is the place for you. Interior was just as advertised. Hosts were wonderful and the exterior has a rustic charm, Gorgeous view of the North Strait.

Lovely surrounds

Lovely rabbits bounding about. Seals galore bellowing away. Rope access to incredible beach not for the faint of heart. Well appointed cottage with lovely loft. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely secluded location

Cottage is in a lovely location and the screen porch is a major plus. Start up was a bit rough, but Grace worked with us to resolve the situation. Beautiful spot for a complete getaway.

Great Stay!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was great being out by the coast! We also enjoyed the privacy! Highly recommended place to stay if you want to get away to a quiet, beautiful spot! Slightly disappointed that Wi-Fi was not quite set up yet but I think they are working on getting it set up.

Beautiful and serene

My friends and I stayed for two nights. We felt at home right away. The cottage is so cozy and comfy. All basic amenities are included. The screened-in porch is definitely a plus. The view of the ocean is simply breathtaking, and the seals sunbathing in the mornings was so entertaining. We loved it so much, thinking of making this a yearly getaway.

Sweet getaway spot

This is a charming cottage for getting away from it all. Secluded and rustic. Wildlife and wildflowers. We enjoy cooking for ourselves during vacations, so the kitchen is a plus. Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!

We have been traveling through the USA and Canada for over six weeks, and this has been our favorite property. You do need to enjoy solitude because you can not see any human neighbors.There are rabbits, birds, bees, seals, and mosquitoes as neighbors. The first four are great neighbors, just bring spray for that last one. No problem in the cottage.The view is a million one. Saw fishing boats and a cruise ship once way out. The lighthouse is only a short walk away.Just quiet and peaceful.

Rustic cottage with a million dollar view

This cottage was perfect to enjoy and explore the east (and north/south) sides of PEI. Freshly painted and well-maintained, it had a definite beachy feel. The tap water tasted great and the shower had lots of water pressure. The bbq and electric fireplace made it a pleasant place to cook and relax after a day of sightseeing. Once the owners add wifi/tv services, it will be even better, although we did watch several of the supplied DVD movies on the flat screen smart tv. Our cell phone data worked just fine for what we needed. An overall great stay in a beautiful secluded location with a million dollar view.

Shortcomings

There were no instructions left for operating any equipment, like the TV. No info on dealing with waste. There was no electricity in the loft. While overall it was ok, we didn’t feel it was worth the total charged.

Beautiful waterfront hideaway

Loved the cottage and its tucked away peaceful location. That was what we were looking for. Clean and decorated lovely. The cleared path to the point was a perfect spot to watch the sun rise. The screened in porch was a necessity for enjoying the view, as the bugs were many. Had an issue getting wifi access upon arrival and had to call property manager who responded without delay.Would have liked an informative sheet upon arrival with a few things listed like wifi acess code, tv acess directions ... Need to bring own beach chairs and towels for beach trips and firepot...would have liked to have had access to those items at cottage without having to travel with them. It was a wonderful stay. A much needed calm and peaceful vacation. Prince edward isle is beautiful. Loved the eastern coastal drive...incredible views and scenic spots everywhere. Wasn't impressed with charlottetown or summerside, although the food at the jolly roger in summerside was fantastic...best fried food. The lobster shack in souris was best on island that we had.
