An authentic antique log cabin, transported and rebuilt in the Timberidge community of Gatlinburg, the cabin sits at the end of the road on a hill with spectacular views. Yet, it is only minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the national park. This cabin will make you feel a world away with the hand hewn logs from the 1800's and stacked stone chimney. Sit back in the rocking chairs on the front porch and take in the wonderful view of the smoky mountains or relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and shopping. Inside, you will find with the rustic feel of the cabin are all the conveniences of today. A fully equipped kitchen and wood burning fireplace for those romantic evenings spent in the cabin, a king sized Beautyrest pillow top bed, as well as free WIFI will provide the amenities you deserve on your vacation. Cabin also has a full sized washer, dryer, and hi def TV. The beauty of nature abounds at Honeymoon Hideaway. Many guests have seen the family of bears that stroll through the property from time to time. Take in the beautiful long range views and listen to wild turkey calls in the morning while you drink coffee on the porch in your rocking chair.

Everything about this cabin is excellent. Stayed here for 5 days. The view and cabin are gorgeous, very clean and so quiet. Perfect place for a couple who wants to have quality time, not too far away from all activities, stores, etc. I can’t say enough how happy we were staying here!

This cabin is everything it says it is. Cozy inviting and just what you need. I loved the community with all the authentic cabins. Such a cool experience. I’ve been to the area many times so the roads did not scare me but always remember the higher up you go the narrower the roads. Can’t wait to come back again!

This is the perfect cabin for 2 for any occasion. My husband and I stayed here for our 21st wedding anniversary. Very peaceful, a little slice of heaven. Will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

This cabin was just what my husband and I needed. We wanted to get away from demanding jobs and plan for a big year ahead. It delivered on all fronts. At one point I told me husband I thought this experience had all of the sounds you pay a subscription to an app for to help you find the calm. Hosts were great and the cabin has a resilient story. Gorgeous view with seclusion

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in the beautiful "Honeymoon Hideaway". It was very clean and such a beautiful cabin. The view is gorgeous and it is located in a private setting. We enjoyed the hot tub most mornings and every evening. It is only a 15 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg and close to the Smoky Mountains hiking trails. It is located up winding roads and some are steep but they are paved so driving was not an issue. We will stay here again on our next visit to the Smoky Mountains!

Perfect place to reset your chakras. You can feel the love that has gone into the place vibrating all around you. Ok ok… Also feel obligated to say we saw a mama bear with her two cubs walk through the backyard and down the driveway and into the woods just after sunset! “Icing on the cake”.

We will be back next year. We come to Gatlinburg every year, and this has by far has been the best. No complaints. Would have been nice to have a smart tv to watch Netflix in the evenings but not a necessity. We saw three bears while here. Only dislike was the crew behind the trees of the driveway blaring Spanish music while we were trying to enjoy the porch. No fault of the owner. Loved it here.

Awesome little cabin at the very top of the mountain. Secluded and quiet, only visitor we had was a black bear cub! Cabin was clean and everything worked well. Well worth the drive up the mountain for this gem!! We plan to visit as often as we can.

We have managed rental properties for over 20 years and our goal is to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love the community where this cabin is located. Each cabin sits on almost an acre and is secluded from the others in the neighborhood. We found that to be a rarity compared to most cabin areas that are stacked on top of each other. The authentic logs that were used to rebuild the cabin give it a romantic charm that make it stand out from cabins in other communities in the area.
Although secluded, the cabin has a great view and is easily accessed with vehicle and very close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and downtown Gatlinburg.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular long range views - you can even see The Island ferris wheel at night! Built out of antique hand hewn logs from the 1800's.
