You’ll love my place because of the friendly residential neighborhood, the new comfy bed, high speed internet, Dish TV, your own kitchen & shared laundry facility. You will also enjoy the convenient location with your own private, off-street parking and private entrance. My place is good for singles, solo adventurers, & business travelers. (Maximum: 2 Guests)

This little cottage was the highlight of our 3 night stay. It was very neat, clean, and very cozy. It was perfect for us! And the private parking was a definite added plus. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Cute cottage

This cute cottage fit my needs for the time I needed. The yard was perfect for my dog to run around and play. The communication with Carlos was outstanding. Any time I had a question or concern Carlos happily handled whatever it was.

Clean Home base for SA Vacay

I was here for vacation and Final Four Weekend. This place is close to the airport/highway, was clean for my stay, and there was good communication with Carlos. I appreciated it as a home base for my time in San Antonio. When first arriving I was confused about where to go but I learned how to navigate soon enough. I would say the area has some closed businesses around it and an older hotel so it may seem sketchy to some but I always felt safe. Overall the experience of cleanliness, communication, and convenience were good and that's what I needed for my stay here. I would recommend with the one caveat of the location.

Pros: great convention location, clean, safe, private, stocked well, TV ans wifi good, ac nice and cool. Carlos was SO nice and great to work with. Very accommodating! Cons: bed too firm (hard to sleep in), toilet needs work (simple plug inside water chamber need to be replaced and wouldn't always flush on its own), found some used towels behind the bathroom door upon arrival, and place was hard to find at the end of the day. Alley way is not marked and you need to use the alley way to access condo. Suggestion: give renters specific directions before they get there. There are some fantastic directions inside the cottage on counter that would of been very helpful to start out with before we arrived and couldn't find the unmarked alley in the dark.

Long term stay

The Cactus Cottage was a really good choice for my extended stay in San Antonio. The cottage was plenty of room for one person and the neighborhood was safe. Only a few minor complaints about the bathroom door not shutting all the way and the occasional lack of hot water when someone was doing their laundry. Despite these things, I would definitely recommend the Cottage for anyone looking for a place in SA!
