Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Collect your belongings / food, check under furniture, behind doors, etc. Empty dishwasher & put away any dishes & utensils that you use. Leave our home as you found it, neat and tidy.
Close / lock windows / doors. Close blinds. Take trash (kitchen / bath / dog waste) to the trash center or with you. Leave guest passes in the green binder / leave key where you found it.
Bring in deck chairs / umbrellas, if used. Elected cleaning covers: bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, stove top, wiping counters.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Licensed hosts require a signed California Vacation Rental Agreement from guests, which will be sent as a PDF attachment and is due within 3 days.
This is our second home, so we cannot accommodate rentals in excess of 7 days. Fire Code maximum occupancy of up to four (4) strictly enforced.
Guests agree to follow all PMCPOA rules & regulations. Quiet hours: 9:00pm to 7:00am -Security patrolled community. Please do not feed the wildlife.

Great place for a family getaway to the snow

Owners were helpful and friendly from the start. Knew we were going for the snow and helped us find some quieter spots the place. Place is warm and well stocked with everything you need. Will stay again.

Wonderful White Christmas location!

This was our second year staying in this beautiful cabin for Christmas, and we plan to go back again next year. The cabin is extremely well cared for, very cozy and comfortable, and the owners are extremely attentive. It is the perfect set up for our family of four and I highly recommend it!

This was our 3rd Christmas in this wonderful mountain home. The owners are fabulous to work with, making everything from start to finish easy. The home is beautiful and very comfortable, and the location is a winter wonderland. We can't wait to go back next year!

Gorgeous home in a beautiful area

Really beautiful and cozy home! The home had absolutely everything we needed for our four night stay. We loved the fireplace, sitting on the deck, playing the many board games and watching many of the movies provided. The owners were very communicative and friendly. We’d come back again anytime!

Quiet and peaceful

We enjoyed the cabin and it is indeed on a quiet street. Husband loved sitting on the deck and watching the birds, squirrels and deer. Amenities were all nice, including having firewood and extra pillows available. Easy to work with and "extras" were appreciated.

Wonderful stay, spotless and welcoming!

Thank you for sharing your home with us, it's the cleanest vacation rental we've stayed at. It really felt like home. We enjoyed feeding the blue jays and watching the hummingbirds. We saw deer while walking around the neighborhood as well. We appreciated the helpfulness and responsiveness of the communication and the list of items at the cabin.

Perfect Family Weekend

Everything about our stay was perfect! Lori called ahead of time to go through things we might need to know before heading up and the house was in a great location and very clean. More than enough space for our family of four. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and sledding near Mt. Pinos, which was a short drive. The locals in town were very friendly. Thanks, Lori!

Relaxing

This was the perfect getaway to deal with the current lockdown. The neighborhood was quite and there was a good view of the mountains. The rental was very clean and well kept and the kitchen was well stocked. Anything you would need for a getaway was there. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to getaway. The owners were very nice and friendly.

Moutain Retreat

Our stay at this cabin home was superb. It was clean, very nicely decorated, and situated on a pleasant, woodsy street about 2/3 up the mountain (yet not too far from the little village center). The hosts take a lot of care into making their home comfortable and it shows. Little touches like complimentary Duraflame logs and peanuts to feed the visiting Blue Jays make the experience special. I highly recommend this cabin for an easy mountain retreat.

A week away in the mountains

My husband, our pooch, and I had a splendid stay in Pine Mountain Club at the Malloy family property. The weather was gorgeous and included exquisite cloud formations and a dusting of snow. Peanuts provided by the Lori and Tim were much appreciated by the voracios Stellar blue jays who immediately swooped in. Lori and Tim, Thanks so much for sharing your mountain retreat with the three of us!

Relaxing and cozy winter getaway!

My husband and I were looking for a nice winter weekend away and this cabin was the perfect fit! We really appreciated their pet-friendly policy which allowed us to bring our two Pugs along. The cabin itself is quite spacious, clean, and comfortable, with the Great Room upstairs providing all the amenities for a cozy winter weekend. We especially enjoyed lounging on the couches with warm blankets next to a roaring fire. While we loved our wintry weekend, this place would be very nice in the warmer months as well - there is a lovely deck outfitted with a bbq and a nice seating area, and a nice view of the surrounding forest and mountains. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. A wonderful and well-maintained cabin in a quiet location surrounded by trees. We loved watching the sunset every evening from the deck, feeding the bluejays, hiking around Mt. Pinos or the Waterfall trail, watching all kinds of wildlife like the does, chipmunks, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, or taking a dip in the pool at the clubhouse. Just being able to relax with no kids around...say no more. Thank you to the Malloys!

Near LA / Ventura County line - in Kern County.

We truly love the Mountains and spent many childhood summers in areas such as Big Bear and Mammoth. After considering many mountain areas, we remembered hearing about this quaint Alpine community. A quick Sunday drive took us to our home in Pine Mountain Club, in Kern County near the LA / Ventura County line. It was the only home we saw and fell in love with it immediately! It's so close -- we absolutely love it! Built in December 2003, our home faces south (with west views, as well) and is considered 'passive-solar' - a hidden jewel with its' unobstructed mountain views -- the sunrises and sunsets from our deck are truly amazing; the night sky will put on quite a show! We have designed our home for one or two couples and offer upscale amenities, including secure WI-Fi, Verizon cell phone service, satellite/TV in each room, a Carbon Monoxide detector, along with lots of extras! Leave your cares at the door and enjoy the upscale comforts our mountain home provides. ~Lori & Tim

And, aside from tree growth, our views will never, ever change. The quaint Village offers many dining options for you to enjoy, as well as shopping and has a 'long-ago' feel. Safe, friendly and peaceful! The golf course is beautiful year-round, and the community pool (seasonal) - refreshing! And, as avid hikers, we enjoy the many local trails. Back at our mountain home, we enjoy hand-feeding the jays, as well as viewing wildlife from our deck; the night sky is always welcoming, giving us time to relax, breathe and reflect. And our very favorite ... watching the sunsets. They truly are amazing!! You won't believe a place like this exists! This truly is the perfect couple's getaway or a quiet, peaceful, secluded retreat! And because this is our second home, we maintain every aspect of it, as well as our beautiful landscaped property.
